In 2003 I purchased a dozen Vapor Carbonwood 3000 arrows when I bought my bow. Those arrows shot great from my bow and were very durable. Now I'm down to four arrows and need to place another order. However, someone told me that the Vapor Carbonwood arrows aren't as good now as they used to be. Has anyone else here found this to be true? The set I had was excellent - never gave me a bit of trouble - so I am hoping that the person who told me this is wrong (which is very possible). My question is simple: Should I go with some more Vapor Carbonwoods? Or should I consider another brand of carbon arrows?
I haven't had any problems with my Carbonwoods, they have worked fine for me.I believe they have been bought out by Gold Tip.I have Carbonwood 2000,3000 and 4000,and have a few Carbonwood VMAXX in 3000 and 5000.If they are working for you I would not hesitate to get some more.Carbonwood 3000 have a spine of .400,other shafts that would be close are GT 55/75,Beman ICS or MFX 400.Mine have held up fine except the one 3000 that I Robin Hooded.
They're the same as they always were...just owned by Gold Tip now.
Thanks very much for the imformation. That's what I was hoping to hear.
I have the 3000 carbonwoods and they shoot great out of my Longbows. I am very pleased with them!
