The ground blind I currently own wont allow me to shoot a bow longer than 60" and even a 60" bow isnt very maneuverable. It obviously was made for a compound shooter. So what pop up ground blind out there would allow me to shoot a 64" bow or even a 62" bow with ease?
Might try the Double Bull recurve model.
Danny
I have 2 Double Bull
Recurve" models . . . they work great with my 60" recurves and 68" longbow.
I have a Double Bull T-5, the regular height model. I'm 6 ft 3in tall and shoot a 64 inch bow. I haven't had any trouble shooting in it. Your setting or kneeling anyway so it's not a problem.
Yukon Tracks Elite. 80" tall.
Another vote for the Double Bull recurve model. I have the Matrix and like it. They have a newer model now that is like the Matrix on one side and the T-5 on the other, so can be used either way.
First off, I'm sure the Double Bull Blind has tons of advantages and is a good blind to hunt from. If I had private property and the money I might think about getting one.
However....
For the price on that Double Bull Blind, I would rather buy some burlap or canvas and build a blind with some nylon rope and sticks. Then cut some shooting windows into it. Maybe rig a drop cloth over the top to keep the rain out.
Just my 2 cents,
-Charlie
Ameristep Penthouse works well for me. I am 6'2" and shoot a 66" longbow. No problem at all. It even has room for another hunter.
Dan
I also have an Ameristep Penthouse blind and it works for me also.
agree with buckeye. I have a double and like it, quality construction and materials, but build most of own out of natural materials. Pruining saw(sometimes a chainsaw) and a handful of nails or plastic ties and I can usually make one out of deadfalls in 15 to 30 minutes to whatever size. I like to make them where i can shoot sitting or standing if the situation allows.
I didnt even know Double Bull Made a Recurve Model I'll have to check it and the others out. Thanks for the input.

You should check out Lucky's Hunting Blinds there is a link to him off of Chippewae Wedgelock site, he makes a really nice blind to your specs. Chippeaw is hard to spell

Why not get a set of nippers, a tree step and a length of camo netting to build your own? A lot lighter, less expensive and arguably equally effective.
I go with this set up. Real inexpensive and works great.

I'm leaning toward some sort of pop-up blind myself. In my experience, all the best camo makes little if any difference. The critters see movement, not me. I have sat completely still while wearing regular clothes and had deer walk within 15 feet of me. As soon as I twitch,...zoom, they're gone. I can see real benefit in a blind with a dark interior to conceal movement.

I've got one just like that! :D
Primos has a couple in the $125-200 category that should be recurve friendly. I think the height is 70".
Ground Max Deluxe is what I have. I am 6'4" and have no problems.
Eastman's makes an inexpensive large pop up blind bought mine at Sam's Club under $130.00 Works great for me. I am 6' 6" 280 lbs and shoot a 66" longbow with no problems. Have a blessed day
yukon tracks "Enforcer Elite" ......... 80" tall !!!!! .......... $185 shipped ..... eB**
I have the Yukon Tracks Enforcer- the Enforcer Elite has lower windows, which I would rather have. Quick setup and takedown, and durable so far. Plenty of room- you could sleep in it if you wanted to.
Here's my new Enforcer Elite. I got it for 150$ from www.marinegeneral.com (http://www.marinegeneral.com) (this is not a commercial, I just love the blind and the price). My buddy "Chuckles" is 6'4" and he can stand up inside this blind and his head doesn't touch. The windows are HUGE and are tailor made for trad shooting (IE shooting without sights/pins/etc). Lightning fast setup and takedown, weighs 15# with the carrying case.

One more vote for the Penthouse. 6'1" shooting a 64" bow. No problems.
Ghillie Suit, XL Tall.
Another vote for the "JERRY JEFFER'S " Model.
Used both the penthouse and enforcer and both worked well.
