Hey all,
I'm new to the site and to traditional shooting. I have been shooting a bow for several years, but want to give a longbow a try. I have ordered a Mohawk bow, as they seem to get good reviews. The bow pulls 50lbs at 27" draw. My question is what all will I need to get started? Any help would be greatly Appreciated.
glove/tab, armguard, arrows and something to shoot at. i would suggest 2016's or carbon 500's and an assortment for different weight fp's.
Start shooting and ask questions along the way. Quality over quantity on the practice.
A good instructor to show you a good anchor and release. Bad habits start the first time you shoot a bow. So try to get the best information before you even draw it back. Because the best way to start out is on the right foot. Thats my 2 cents
