Any shooters of this little recurve? Opinions?

I just bought a used like new condition Shrew "Lil Favorite" Recurve and it is awesome. Mine is 54" long and shoots very fast. I shoot it this evening and was hitting a paper plate at 20-25 yards with ease and even hit it more than not at 30 yards. That is very, very good for me as I am a hunter not a target shooter.

Had one last year and still kicking myself for letting it go.  Great shooting bow and very quiet for a recurve.

Yup I have two and they are great little bows.  Very quiet and dead in the hand.

I have a LB and am looking for the recurve. Always thinking about the next bow.

I just got one of the Scouts, 58", it shoots great.  I have a Shrew longbow and was super impressed with how quiet it is.  I was worried the recurve would be louder.  It is a hair louder but still the quietest recurve I have ever shot.  It is not as fast as my Morrison but still plenty fast. Nice bow.

I have a Scout and a Scout "Li'l Favorite". Awesome bows. Mine are Osage and a Chameleon, but Ron has some absolutely beauiful offerings using curly birch.

They shoot great. The handle is the best in the business, they are quiet, and fast. Zero handshock.

I normally hunt with my Shrew longbows because the Shrew Scout recurve shoot so good that it just makes it too easy.     ...   ;)

Here's a couple deer I shot a few years ago while hunting with my 58" Shrew Scout. I was hunting in the oaks and there was a good crop of acorns that year. I took the first one in the evening and the second one the next morning.    :archer:

Ron,

If you weren't wearing a different shirt I would think these were pictures of the same deer!    :biglaugh:

I don't think you could go wrong with any of the Shrew bows.

Ron,

Please get me the Shrews I have on order before someone like Mike gets them outlawed!    :scared:   I want to be grandfathered in on the new law so I can keep shooting mine.    :D
