Any idea of a good starting point for the vapor 2000 shafts using my 48# at 28" bow? I draw about 27.5 - 28". It is cut 5/16" past center and I'm using a NAP flipper rest so I have alot of adjustment to tune. Im shooting aluminums now, but I love the durability of carbons.
Thanks alot
john at sipsey would be a good resource... if its cut past center..i dont think youll need to much weight up front..
The Vapor 2000s will weigh about 380grs with a 125 gr point. The spine will be close if you cut them at 29" or less. Longer than that, they will probably be too weak.
My bow is cut right at center and I use the Vapor 2000's full length with a 125gr head. My bow is 48#@28", I'm probably getting somewhere between 45-48#. They also work really well with a matching bow that is 43#@28, I just have to bump the point weight up to 145 grains.
Ok, thank you!
