Finally!! After flinging literally thousands of arrows - mostly in my backyard 17 yard range, I am consistently shooting three inch groups centered on the quarter sized bulls eye. I just shot over 50 arrows and not one was more than 5 inches from the bulls eye. I know that may be mediocre shooting for most of you, but for me...I am so buzzed and just wanted to share this with some one - especially people out there who may be experiencing frustration with an apparent lack of progress. Stick with it, find a mentor(s), join a club, participate in Tradgang, read books, etc. - and above all - keeping shooting - everyday. Even if you feel it will never happen, just shoot through it. It will happen. Special kudos to Byron Ferguson and my personal mentor, Rick Youngs of Sylvanl Archers.
Congratulations!! A job well done.....next goal is 4 1/2 inches. I've been shooting for 46 years, and there's always a current success, and another aspect or facet to work on. Enjoy!!!
Awesome job!!! Every now and then I'll see groups like that, but 5-6" on center are more common for me - after a half hour warmup/practice.
Sometimes I get lucky. :D
Way to go on the group!
im at 6" groups now , still not please. but i can remember what it looked like the first month i picked up a bow. most didnt even hit the target
Awesome shooting , keep up the practice!!!
