Didn't find any times either....
I went when it was in Atlanta 96'..almost like watching paint dry..Watching it on TV has got to be better.
The 2004 US Olympic trials were conducted here and I went to watch Limbwalker shoot.
Watching paint dry actually has a bit more action.
The medal matches should be on TV but the rest will be on the website. GO USA!!!

heres the broadcast schedule
Just watched the Korean women's team set a new world record. Didn't have the first arrow out of the gold. Unreal!
I don't think us Aussie's have much chance at the archery but I haope we wipe the floor with the rest of the world like in sydney.
Aussie ,Aussie,Aussie,OI ,OI, OI.
They just showed Korea winning the Gold in Women's team shooting. They Beat China.
with the highhest total score ever, no less
Congrats to Korea and the Ladies of the Team... They all are cute and they (both teams) have great form when shooting.
take this up
The Koreans are serious archers. They have no hunting opportunities and are strictly target shooters. When I was there all I saw was indoor ranges.
You can stream it online...
Watched a bunch, interesting, lots of split fingers, anybody else notice the South Korean Women, they held on spot for maybe a couple seconds?talk about confident.
anybody know the distance they were shooting?
Kurt
70 meters, check stickbow they have a post with alot of cool info on it about how far and such
Tough loss for the mens team yesterday. Individual match is wednesday.
70 Meters is 76+ yards
I watched today...Koreans beat the Italians but it was real close. Italy closed the gap to 2 pts but then the young guy shot a 7. All the Koreans had to do was "9" out, which they did. All were shooting the Samick bows except one italian, he shot a Hoyt....and was the best shot. All them guys are rock steady at full draw and have great concentration.
these guys are unbelievable! They are dissapointed when they don't get within the nine point ring at 70m! I would be estatic if I just hit the target consistently. I know that this is their life bit this is still very very impressive!
Greg and thats in Olympic competition you should see them in practice! It unbelievable!
bump for the individual matches tonight
a few year back there was a youngster from SoCal named Justin Huish and he was amazing for such a young guy. No wonder they don't have seasons in Korea-they'd wipe out teh game in such a small space
It amazes me how good the Koreans really are - but moreover - why they are so good? They make rubbish bows - but at least they know how to shoot them properly!
Sutto
Here are the results from the womens individuals
Gold-China
Silver and Bronze -Korea
Tonight is the mens individuals and we still have one american left, Vic Wunderle.
Well Vic was eliminated in the quarterfinals by mexico.
Gold Ukraine
Silver Korea
Bronze Russia
Looked like he was having back tension problems or something. Personally, I'd be annoyed by that little arrow holder clicker.
ya he was letting down on almost every arrow. It made it very suspenseful though because a couple of times he shot with just one second left on the clock. The clicker is good and bad but it insures the exact same draw on every arrow and helps with a surprise release.
Hey Suttoman, I was just shooting my Samick Equus recurve this pm for fun. I am shooting a long bow these days! It is one of the 'old ones'- actually made in Korea, I have to have shot 25 000+ arrows through it since 2002 and it still is a treat- 55#,very fast, no stack on 27"draw 52"ntn and flat shooting. The more recent ones and the mega mass produced items are not so hot I have heard but I guess those Olympic fellows shoot the best of the best. The top flight target bows I have seen here shoot good and look pretty impressive, they cost more than my car!
