Hey guy's I am just under 6'4" and need some 400 spine or 55/75 carbons atleast 33" to shoot out of my Zipper anybody know were I can get raw shafts this long? I would love some GT trad blems but I checked sipsney river not long enough os some Beman ICS bowhunters. I am on a tight budget. thanks . Chris
The Heritage 350's from 3 Rivers are 33" I would imagine the 250's are the same.
All of the Carbon Express Heritage 250 arrows I have gotten (factory sealed packages), and I think the number is about 6 dozen over the last 2 years, are 32.75" form valley of nock to bop.
I'm footing them with aluminum, and using the aluminum insert to gain 3/4" on my arrows to give my fingers a little room when broadheads are there.
Easton A/C/C 3-71 is 33" Raw and .300 spine
They have quite a few aluminums 33-34" long
thanks guys for the help
I called Easton today they make Beman arrows the ICS Bowhunter arrow comes 33" in the 300 and 340 shafts.
Uncut shafts usually come in 34-35" I thought? How's the weather up there lol? j/k
Steve
Thats what I thought to but after some research most come around 31". I am sick of rain here I got lots of stands to finish hanging and a few food plots left to plant looks like maybe next week.
Check with Alaska Bowhunting Supply, they're Grizzly Sticks come in lengths of 34" I think.
you're not that tall, I'm 6'. But GD 6'3" dude, what poundage of bow do you pull?
Steve
Just getting into trad archery. Good to hear there are "man sized" shafts available. Thought I was going to have use one of the telephone poles down the street. BTW - I am 6'8", barely need a treestand at this height. :) LOL
On a serious note, how do you foot a carbon with aluminum? I have some GT Trads that are too short at full length.
Steve I have a 60" zipper recurve it is marked 49 @ 28" but I am pulling a full 32" so about 61 lbs. I would geuss. Did I mention the bow is purty as hell, someday when I figure out how to post pics I'm gonna show it off.
