Title: Grizzly Stik nocks?
Post by: sendero25 on August 04, 2008, 08:47:00 PM
Member outdooru recently asked what size uni-nock bushing was needed for a Grizzly Stik Sitka.
I just finished cutting, and fletching my Sitkas and was wondering what is the advantage of using the uni-nock instead of the tunable nocks that came with my Sitkas?
So far, I like my Grizzly Stiks, but if I order more, should I use the nocks that come with them, or use the uni-nock?
Thanks all,
John

When I was shooting Sitka's, I used 3-28 unibushing's and G nocks...and the only resaon was the stock nocks weren't very good nocks and weren't tuneable...with the new tuneable nocks, I'm assuming there's no reason to convert them.

Thanks SHOOTO8S,
just wondered if the nocks I have weren't "good enough".
When I received my Sitkas, I called 3r Tech Line, to make sure they were in fact, "tunable" or if I should glue them in.
These were my first carbon arrows ( I always have shot aluminum)and all of my experience was to glue everything!
After going through the process of finding the spine side, cutting, shooting , cutting more, and more, and more....
I finally got the Sitkas to shoot great, with my fletched arrows and with broadheads.
Just wondered if I was missing an advantage with the uni-nocks.
Thanks again,
John
