Title: If only everyday was like today
Post by: rybohunter on August 01, 2008, 03:08:00 PM
I would be one of the most confident shooters in the world. I could not miss.

I shot my new bow that I recently got for the first time. I was hitting amazingly. Pulled out my old bow...same thing. Swap back & forth...no difference. Shot after shot, even past my normal comfort level, right in together.
I wish I could have bottled it.

I know it's in me, I've seen glimpses of it before, but today was jsut crazy. Hopefully I can call on it when it counts.

I'm with ya brother....and if you ever figure out a way to "bottle" that up...let me know, 'cause I want a couple cases of it.   :archer:

Isn't crazy. Some days you can't miss.  Enjoy them!

Enjoy them is right... and remember them on the days when you can't hit a shed from inside!!    I had one of those yesterday.   Went out after a week of heavy work, body tired, muscles stretched, pushed too hard on the climbs on the course, etc.   All I could say when I got back was that I still had 12 arrows.  :^)     But I've had days like you did and I know I will again.   If we shot perfect every time it'd get boring and if we never hit we'd quit, so I guess the only real lesson is to go out more often?

They are hard to explain and usually I'm shooting alone.
