Talked to JD last nite about the Mojo Stik coming to NY for me. I gotta say he is very easy to work with and is more than willing to make his customers happy.
After seeing a very early riser pic, I wasn't entirely sure about my wood choices. :knothead:
I gotta learn NOT to worry until I see the final product too! :knothead: :banghead:
JD assured me that he would be sure to keep me happy with my order. I was a bit unsure of the ebony for my riser, since I had a mental pic that most ebony is very dark, but mine is a mix of light and dark. It just threw me for a minute. Well I checked around and found more ebony that would be similar to this one with Cocobolo accents. My worries seem to be unfounded, so JD is sending me more pics this weekend before he sprays the finish.
Nice!! I'm jealous, I want another one, maybe a Voodoo to match my Mojostik this time.
KEvin...I'll post pics when I get her next week. I can't focus on nothin' but these days.
:clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
I know what you are going through, but I have got all that behind me, now I only have to fight the urge for the third ONE !!!!!
But as you can see, in my signature line, I am enjoying
Smoothness, quietness, accuracy,
It's great when you find a bow that fits you like a glove !!!!
JD sure does make a great product, he really puts his heart into it.

That is a saaweeet looking Mojo Stik Wendell! Good luck with it!

I think you chose well! That is one nice piece of Ebony, almost like a black and white Ebony.
Beautiful!! congrats.
YEah, I think it's cool lookin' too.
If they shoot half as good as they look, I am going to be super stoked!
OK, OK,
I will go out on the limb a great one !!!!
They shoot twice as good as it look.
Not to take away anything from their fine lines, and wonderful grain.
As you can see, in my signature line, I could be biased !!!!!
It's been said before many times
Quiet, smooth drawing all the way to anchor, and tremendously fast. Some have given up their
" Black Widow"
For these jewels !
Carl
Dang BrokenArrow1, you got me thinkin' I may have to order a second bow here.....Haven't even got the first one yet!
It's the perfect combination for me, when I'm weak, I shoot the 43#, and build up, and then I take out 47#, I will probably use that one for hunting, but that 43# really spoiled me, I can really hold down on that one.
When you get over the " light attitude" you're just fine.
And especially when the 43# is at 187 fps with a 435 gr arrow.
Carl
Looks very nice
Did you receive a yet !!!!
Carl
Just got email from JD....my MojoStik came in at 53lb at 28"....that's about perfect for me. only 2 lb shy of my requested weight.
Pretty cool,
It won't be long, he will have your bow to you.
J.D. is the best bow maker I have ever ordered from since I've been buying bows.
He has a great personality and dedication to his craft, he just doesn't sell you a stick of wood !
Pastor Carl
JD has an incredibly keen eye for wood combinations...
Well the bow is finished and JD sent me a pic of the riser after the sation finish was applied. the previous riser pics were just wiped down with alchohol I think. I think she keeps gettin' prettier and prettier! :archer: Sorry no limb pics.
