Title: Bison Packs - Pics
Post by: Drew on July 30, 2008, 09:42:00 AM
Does anyone have a Bison GFA haversack or Gopher?

I sent Angelo an email about these packs a few weeks ago as there are no pics on the website of those two, he must be busy or the email didn't go through...

Thanks!

BH-I'm not sure I was on the Bison gear website, and it shows they have some of these in stick but no pics...

Thanks Bob and Alex...

Bob, trying to decipher the straps that appear to hang from the bottom. Am I looking at it correctly; those are two cinch straps on the bottom of the bag used to strap a jacket or such, and the big strap is actually a shoulder sling strap that is just hanging underneath in the pics. The small loop you use to hang the bag from the wall is just that, being a small top grab loop?? What are the overall bag dimensions???

Thanks,
Daddy Bear

yes, those are straps for a jacket or something else to be attached on the outside, and yes, it is the shoulder strap hanging below, and there is a small hang loop too.... I'll get measurements this evening, sorry for any confusion.

Haversack:

Main compartment:  12"w x 10"h x 4"d
Front pocket: 8'w x 9.75"h x 2"d
Side pockets: 3"w x 8"h x 2"d - think single serving water bottle - something like 16 oz. easily fits.  These dimensions are based on "squaring" the bag with "d" being front to back dimension.  Ton of space here for what it is intended for - Haversacks are "Bird Watcher's" bags...easily a day bag with your coat on the outside

Hope it helps.
