G'day to all here,
Well at long last I've finished off Danny's 2nd dozen Forgewoods that he sent over to me ... O so long ago!
He tells me there bound for Africa in 2010 but I hope he puts an animal on the ground before then! That'll be a long time to see any hero pics on here.
The finished product....

They come in around the 740 grain mark and with a good Broadhead up front leading the charge I can't see why 900 grains is not achievable.
Plenty enough grunt for the toughest African critter.
A closer look....

I've written on the arrows Danny's Indian name for good Mojo at his request. I'm not sure what it means so maybe he'll drop in and tell us about it. I think it's kinda cool to have a 2nd Indian name... wish I had one!
I'm also in the planning stages of an African hunt as well. So I wish him all the luck.
Regards,
AK.
Al OUTSTANDING, That's some talent
Just beautiful!
Al, it means "he who teaches others to shoot firesticks with vigor" or "Man who walks up and shoots piggy while he's sleeping"- I can't remember which he told me.
Dang Al!! Those are SWEET!! Good luck Danny.
  :notworthy:
ROTFLMAO,Ray, my friend that right there is funny.
Al, they are perfect. I love the color of the fletch. Thank you my friend.
"yannashchito" Choctaw for "Big Buffalo".
Gonna mount some old Ace 145gr broadheads on them. They should fly perfect out of my Zebra Brack Quest and my Dale Dye Trails End. I put some old 145 gr Hunter's Heads on the other set and they fly perfect. Tried some Ace 160 Super express but they whistle something fierce,LOL. Sounded like a mad bumble bee heading down range.
Danny
Beautiful work. Those are some sweet arrows.
Gorgeous! Those things have to be overflowing with good Mojo. :clapper:

Beautiful work Al, and good luck Danny on your upcoming trip.
Beautiful!
"yannashchito" Choctaw for "Big Buffalo". I was going to ask if that meant Buffalo.
Them some really nice arrows
Looks like you have completed the deadly trio...Danny, bow, and now forgewood flying death!
 Purty, Purty, Arras
Those are soooo nice, I would hesitate to shoot them. I would'nt want to mess them up.
Now Danny just needs to add a little blood to those beauties.
Thanks fellas on the kind words. Now all we need is to see Danny run some daylight through a critter or two with 'em!
