I have been thinking about trying aluminum arrows and I'm not sure which ones I should get. I shoot a reflex deflex longbow 53@27. 1916's or 2016's? Other suggestions are welcomed.
I believe a 2016 will be perfect for you, I draw 27" to and my longbow is 51 pounds and they flight great, so it should be fine for you to
Deadpool, What length arrow are you shooting and how much weight up front?
If your draw is 27" and your arrows are cut to 28", with a 125 grain point, a 2016, 2018 or a 2115 would also be good choices.
Depends what kind of arrow weight you want. I would go 2018 or 2020
If you draw 27" then a 2016 cut 28" with a 125grn point will be right on.
Mike
2020 would be much too stiff for a longbow of that weight with just a 28" arrow. 2016 and "maybe" 2018...you would have to try them to make sure.
2016's.....
2016's :archer:
2016 for sure
Well, it also depends on if it is a hard R/D or mild and how centershot the bow is. If it is a real hard R/D and ya shoot a 28" arrow than maybe a 2018. The 2016 will get ya close either way. Shawn
Cut the arrows 28.5" and you can shoot 2018's.
If you can, shoot each without feathers(bare shaft). The one that flies true is the one to use.
What's wrong with 2213's? Fly well for me out of 2 different longbows and my recurves around that weight. Can play with the tip weight and still get good flight.
