cant speak about the one piece, but I have a takedown mountain bow that I love.  I have the boo cored limbs, very smooth with Good speed.  I personally love the grip design but I know others that would like a higher wrist.  Mike is a great guy to work with and will do you right.

I bought one on this site from the ad page.  All I can say is it is pretty fast.  55lb with 530 gr. arrow and I'm getting 190fps drawing just 27"

the same arrows out of my longbow thats 56lbs I'm getting 165fps for comparison.

I just stepped up to an arrow setup that is about 675gr. and I dont see much difference even though I haven't shot those through a chrono yet.

I had one that was a take down. It was my first trad bow. It was a smooth shooter and pretty fast too.

So how about the comfort of the bow. Are they smooth, quiet ?

All the Horne bows I've shot have been smooth and quiet.
