Thanks to Mel Riley for such a wonderful bid. We did our best to create a bow worthy of Mel's generosity.
Super Shrew Deluxe with curly birch veneers. Ebony riser. 58" long, and 54#@28". BowBolt takedown system.
Silver inlay of 4-leaf clover was inlayed and engraved by Roy Stroh.

Outstanding! I get more and more impressed by the Shrew with each one I see. (I say that while counting my loose change to try to calculate when I can get one of my own)

Very fine piece of work - I mean art! Great bidding Mel and class act delivery from Ron and Greg and all.
Maybe next year a real tongue twister... Super Shamrock Shrew for Shaun.
Simply amazing...love the light and dark contrast and with the very generous bid, great deal all the way around.
I think I'm going to be looking very hard at one this January in Kzoo.
I was able to spend a little time with both Ron and Gregg at Compton's this year. They both worked very hard to get me just what I wanted, and made sure I also got what I needed as far as type and materials. Along with advise from JC (thanks Joe), I know I will get a bow that will be very special.
Great bow , great guy for donating and great people in Ron and Greg ! Quality people on this site for sure .
Mike
OUTSTANDING!
What a great bid Mel, I will happily share a jolt of Johnny Jameson with you next year at Compton ;0)
I know for SURE that Gregg used ALL of his magical bowyer powers to put together a bow worthy of such a cause.
Great job to all!

The bow came today, and it is everything I though it would be.....and more!!!! Gregg and Ron, thank you. I will get a chance to shot it tonight!!
Cool. I get nervous shipping one of a kind bows around the country. USPS Express Mail took a little less than 24hrs total transit time.
Have fun Mel.
Gorgeous bow Gregg!! Well done!
