Title: bow form rubber
Post by: huntwithastick on January 01, 2007, 07:31:00 PM
Can anyone out there tell me what thickness rubber to use to line my bow form?  I've previously used formica, but am going to try and use rubber.  Is Old Master Crafters still the place to get it?  Thanks.

Doug

I use formica or fiberglass and some black rubber that I got from a roofing outfit.  It's the stuff that they put on flat roofs.  About 1/16" thick.  Chad

Educate me, why use rubber instead of fiberglass strip or formica strip?
