a big thumbs up to Rod Jenkins on his arrowmaster quiver. It is without a doubt the best quiver I've ever used. Quiet, comfortable, and the best part is it stays put on your back no sliding around. I love the rain cap too. The pocket is big enough for all your "stuff" and a little place in there for your tags. I've never been a fan of a back quiver, but I've only had it a week and i grab arrows out of it like i've had it for years. Its also personalized with my nickname, awesome!!!!! Thanks again, Rod for a great product. Ron PS: I also have his take down case, its also a great product.
-
I met Rod at ATAR this year and bought an arrowmaster from him. I've only used it at 3D's so far but really like it. You can tell a lot of thought went into making it. I've tried lots of quivers but this is the best design yet....Rod is a super nice guy to boot!

pics?

Ron,glad your enjoying your ArrowMaster!

What does water repellant mean? will the fletching remain dry in a good downpour? It looks like a terrific quiver.
-
I can't answer the question about the fletching remaining dry in a "good downpoor" because I have not had my quiver out in those conditions. What I can tell you is that it is an outstanding, exceptionally well made and functional quiver. Also, Rod is a great person and easy to work with. You will enjoy him and the quiver. I expect that in all practical hunting situations your fletching will be fine. If you decide to sit under a waterfall to test it, you might find your arrows will get pretty wet. I'm not sure what else you could find out there that would do a better job of protecting your fletching, short of simply staying indoors.
-
I have to tell you that sitting in a moose stand 15 miles from camp in a a good rain is very similar to a waterfall. I agree it looks like a terrific quiver
-
Yes, your fletching will remain dry in a "good down pour" I've similated several "downpour's" with the garden hose :D

Thanks I will order one today!

I love mine too.

How are the arrows seated/attached in the quiver? Is there foam in the bottom "cup" What keeps the shafts from rattling? Just curious, as the pictures don't show this. Looks nice on the outside.
-
I picked one up at Comptons and really like it. I even used it all weekend at a shoot with a Kelty Kid pack on with my 10 month old son in the pack and it work out great. I had to use the rain cover to keep the kid from playing with my feathers but it was awesome.
Gary, yes there is foam in the bottom and the top has a fleece ring where your fletching rides in the top. It is very quiet with no arrow rattle at all.
-
It appears to be a nice quiver, but what about those of us that like carrying a backpack (Bison, Nimrod, etc)? For an all day elk hunt, I usually pack water, lunch, rain gear, saw, and numerous smaller items and I would like something other than a bow quiver. Is this the answer?
Any pics of this quiver in use with a pack?
-
What Blackhawk said, I have the same question since I'll have my Bison Gear pack on most of time.
-
Heres a pic Denny posted earlier of the ArrowMaster in use with his Bison Gear pack.

I have wore mine with my 2200 Badlands and it worked out great. That is were the stalking strap with clip comes in handy. Just clip that to my belt loop and the quiver stays put!!
-
The only thing better than one Arrowmaster is Two Arrowmasters. Thanks, Rod - great product
-
My buddy got his today & I placed my order for one yesterday....these quivers are the real deal.
-
I love mine too. Another plus,I shoot a take-down long bow, it fits in my quiver if I don't take more than about six arrows.
-
Yep.....I like mine too....like that I can carry a lot of arrows if need be as well.
-
YOUR NOT GETTING MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I wouldn't part with mine either!!
-
Thanks for all the kind comments!
Sagebrush,
Safari Tuff has 2 and 3 pc TD fleece case's, that tie up in a neat package, and works well to protect your bow, when carring inside the ArrowMaster....works great with TD Longbow's, but as you mentioned, does limit arrow capacity.
-
the take-down case is awesome...I have a great grip I'd like you to try :bigsmyl: Hope all is going well, ron
-
Does anyone know if the quiver is available for immediate delivery or are there back orders? :help:
Threads like this tend to remove a guy's modest inventory, right? ;)
-
Think I posted about them here before, but I'll post again.
I've spent a small fortune on different quivers over the years--I'm picky and hard to fit, and never found a hunting quiver that I really liked until I got one of Rod's "Arrowmaster" quivers.
Long story short, it's the best I've ever tried. I haven't had a chance to hunt with one, but I have shot several 3-D tournaments with mine just to check it out. I can't find anything to complain about--it does everything I want it to and then some--I've never owned a hunting quiver I could say that about, and I've owned (or made) every style I could find in one form or another.
I still like my fancy Cedar Ridge (Art Vincent) for 3-D, but I believe my search for "the" hunting quiver is finally over.

Blackhawk....Most quiver orders ship next day, with custom monogrammed order's taking up to 2 weeks. From the get-go, I decided to have production up and running, as well as a good inventory in stock, before taking orders.
Thanks again guy's !
-
AMEN to what Chad said!!!!! Dad and I love ours....
-
Rod, thanks for the update on delivery. ;)
OK, you guys win...I just ordered one. :wavey:
-
You will be thanking us as soon as you use it once Blackhawk.
-
I just got mine but haven't had a chance to critique it. Maybe tomorrow. It looks good out of the box:^) I'll clock in here as soon as I try it out, maybe post some pictures.
-
I've heard nothing but good about the Arrowmaster quiver... gotta get me one.
-
Rod: This looks like a great quiver and I am interested in ordering one but have a question. What keeps the arrows from rattling around in the quiver? Also, is there foam in the bottom of the quiver for the broadheads?
-
It looks great but the question I have is since the quiver lies flat does it crush your feathers? Or is it not as flat as it looks in the pics? I have never seen one in person.
-
Rod: Forget my post -- Just noticed that my questions where answered in an earlier post. Just placed an order. Thanks
-
Texas... Yes, theres a full 1 1/2'' of foam inside a broadhead safe cup on the end of the ArrowMaster, that along with 4'' of fleece lining inside the fletch end eliminates any noise or rattling.
Lewis....the ArrowMaster is teardrop shaped, which gives plenty of space for feathers, but still allows the quiver to be flat on the backside,so it hugs the body when carring and won't bounce and wiggle every step.
-
I see, its hard to tell from the pics. I thought it was just folded and flat. That makes more sense. Thanks Rod.
-
I also bought this quiver at Comptons. I then worked with Rodand Angelo from bison packs to attach the quiver to my new bison fanny pack. Should be a great setup for my hunting style here in the midwest. Rod and Angelo put alot of experience and thought into their work and were interested in listning to my ideas about combining these two great products.
Thanks for the help guys. I'll post pictures when I get the combo in a couple of weeks.
-
I've been looking at my new quiver, how the fletching rides, broadheads secure, etc. and must say that although the arrows you guys are seeing in the photos appear to be lying loosely in the quiver (prone to rattling) - they're not. The heads are secure in the protective foam cup which puts just enough counter tension on the shaft to aide in establishing a more fixed position in the fletching end of the quiver. Bottom line. They remain pretty darn secure fletch-to-fletch. The inside wall of the quiver is lined with quiet material pretty much eliminating any noise caused by feathers scratching against fabric. The quiver DOES have a slight contour/bend which helps conform it to your body with no sliding around. The outside material is non-reflective, soft, and very quiet. Arrows remove quietly . . . the quiver seems really light on your back. So far so good.
-
Havn't used it hunting yet, but I really like this one.
I have been playing with it, loading it up with way more arrows than I ever carry, slinging it over my back while wearing a Bison Gear pack, without a pack etc.
Gonna take it to Colorado in a few weeks and test it out for sure.

-
I don't know if anyone has asked this question yet, but can the quiver be used while packing in a tree stand. I hunt public land and don't dare to leave it in the woods so I pack it in when ever I hunt out of a stand.
Thanks, Rick
-
You can let it ride plains indian quiver style and I don't think have any problem with a stand. Haven't tried it with a stand but I have carried in a blind with it on.
-
Rcombs that is how Bison packs is modifying my set up. The quiver will be attached to my pack and then the entire setup will be attached to my lone wolf in an upright position. Pack and quiver will be removed when I reach the stand position and strapped to the tree. tThe quiver can be swiveled to the conventional position if I am hunting out west without my stand. You should call Angelo at bison packs to see how the quiver and pack combination is working. Great guys to work with.
-
Thanks once again for all the kind comments!
I use the ArrowMaster in two ways when carrying a treestand....first like swp mentioned, I just swing the quiver to a horizontal position and hit the woods...second,if its a long hike, without the possibilty of needing an arrow, the Arrowmaster has 2 D-rings, just for lashing to whatever need be, so I use paracord and simply lash the quiver to my treestand...with the storm cover attached, there's no chance of losing an arrow.
-
I can remove all the slack from the shoulder strap and then snap the strap through the top loop of my Eberlestock J105 pack so that the Arrowmaster hangs on the right side. I then clip the carabiner to the accessory loop of the packs waist belt and the quiver hangs on the side of the pack exactly like it would hang if I wore it. I'll have just enough slack that allows me to grab the bottom of the quivers broadhead safety cup and tilt the quiver up so that it lays perfectly horizontal for when negotiation through heavy brush. When I let it go, it naturally falls back into the proper hanging position without any excessive movement. If I needed to dump my pack for a stalk, it takes only a few seconds to unclip and dawn the Arrowmaster to go on foot.
The only thing I dislike is I wish there were an optional cover to go over the opening along the side. This would allow you to wear it like a conventional back quiver drawing over your back. Without such cover, the opening would lay against your back and drawing a scary sharp broadhead across your exposed back would be dangerous. I think such an addition would open the door for even greater flexibility.
later,
Daddy Bear

I'm pretty sure that I own just about every quiver made or have owned them at one time. I hunt close to home most of the time and only need a fanny pack to get by. This rascal looks like I can fit everything in one unit and do away with carrying so much bulk. I'm trusting you guys and gett'in one. :)
Billy
-
I've been trying everything and not "completely" satisfied with any of them at this point, Cat quivers, back quivers, numerous bow quivers....
Looks like I've got one more to try before I settle.
-
I'm going out in a few minutes to take some photos of my new Arrowmaster to illustrate the various features. Seeing some detail may help you guys make a decision:^) Stay tuned.
-
This photo is a little "busy" due to the background, but hey, it's a good breakup pattern. There is no rattle when I carry these arrows (2 and 3 blade), arrows slip out quietly, plus it rides/stays in place well on my back. There are 2 storage pockets large enough for an extra armguard, sharpeners, even a small lunch:^) The "storm hood" on mine is longer than most guys will need (Rod sent me an oversize version)since I shoot 33 3/4" arrows including broadhead. There are more features but I ran out of space!

-
I cant see the pics Gary, but thanks for trying, you just about have to use photobucket.com to post pics here. thanks,
Billy
-
now I see it, thanks
-
If you see an "X" box instead of my quiver photos you need to refresh your browser. It's definitely showing up. If that doesn't work click on this link:

-
My new Silvertip is just too pretty to slap a quiver on...I think I may have to give the Arrowmaster a GO!
-
Is the length of the quiver adjustable or will different length arrows all fit in it? That is one problem with my Catquiver in that all my arrows need be very close to the same length to keep enough tension to hold them in the quiver.
-
Gary.....Great photo's, thanks!
owlbait, the standard Arrowmaster handles total arrow lenghts of up to 33''.With the long storm cover, up to 35''...and yes, the arrow's can be of varying lengths.
-
Thank you sir! Does it come with well written instructions on how to use/wear it? I'm a little slow figuring things out :knothead:
-
Great photos Gary! They should put this on their website, excellent work! This just sold me on the quiver, now I REALLY want one! I was wondering how the inside looked on the business end of the arrows! Thanks for going to the trouble!
-
Yeah, the photos helped me quite a bit too, thanks Gary. Looks like I'll be getting one soon myself. Hopefully the quest for "THE" hunting quiver is over. Man I LOVE this site!
-
Looks like ol Rod needs to put me on the payroll. HA! Naw, no problem. I know how it is for me; sometimes you just need to see a little more detail to confirm whether a piece of equipment is your cup of tea. Glad to help.
-
TTT until I get mine.
-
Up for TC
-
The quiver came today and I've had a little time to check it out.
I tried the quiver with my Bison Gear pack and it rides very quietly and comfortably. That pouch is actually bigger than I thought and will work great for short outings (water, snack, flashlight, rope, etc.)
I also like the snap ring idea at the bottom to secure the quiver to a pack or your waist. It is designed to be practical and is well-made.
What about water proofing? Should I spray the fabric with some type of water repellent? It rains a lot here in the NW, huh?
-
Bucksuede comes treated with Teflon, and although we haven;t personally seen the need to treat the fabric...according to the manufacturer, the use of a Teflon based fabric treatment product, wouldn't hurt a thing.
-
I actually took the storm hood off my quiver and held it under the sink faucet, springling water over it with my fingers to simulate a downpour. The water beaded up and ran right off.
-
Guess what?? I've got a birthday coming up soon!!!
and I've never been satisfied with the quiver setups I've been using. Judging by the size of that pouch...could probably eliminate the fanny pack for short hunts...

The more I use the Arrow Master the more I realize (for me) it is the best quiver I've ever used.

RONBO came over for a shooting lesson with his new Arrow Master tonight. :knothead:
-
Well, folks, I just ordered an Arrowmaster! I hope it lives up to the hype.....
Looks to be easily removable, light weight and protects my arrows. Also keeps the qweight off my new bow.
That's what I'm after!!!
-
EASTERNARCHER...if the ArrowMaster doesn't live up to your expectations...all Safari Tuff products are 100%guaranteed...if your not happy, I'm not happy! Thankfully,no one has wanted to give up their ArrowMaster :D

Well, I hope I like it alot! Thanks Rod for putting up with all my questions.
-
Well i had a high end leather side quiver and sold it and bought the arrowmaster and COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!!!!GREAT PRODUCT AND A GREAT MAN that stands behind his product
-
Mail lady just brought mine 20 minutes ago & I'm going out to give it a little work out....Thanks Rod for the fast service & speedy delivery...
-
I love mine! light weight and durable, holds everything I need. And don't forget inside the big pouch is a smaller pouch with a zipper.

I only have one more Question, does anyone use wood arrows in the quiver? Even after I finish making my arrows I check them from time to time and straighten them again if they need it.With this type of quiver, does the quiver wrap around your back a little and will it bend the arrows out of shape.
It really looks like a super product. I have tried a lot of other quivers and have never liked a bow quiver, but also have never found a side or back quiver that I liked to hunt with.
Thanks again, Rick Combs
-
I do not believe it will warp arrows. It does not seem to bend like the Hill style quiver.
This this is WAY quieter than any other quiver I have.

Got mine today. Also one of Rods bow cases. It's been upper 90's today and framming houses since 7am, so I haven't tried it out yet. Just looking at it, I know It'll work good for me. I should have got one at ATAR from Rod. Don't know what I was thinkng.
Denny? I thought you were a longbow guy. Is that a DAS, TradTech, Or what? Good looking bow no matter what. DB
-
Well, folks, I just ordered an Arrowmaster! I hope it lives up to the hype.....
It ain't hype--I'm one of the biggest skeptics there is, and I hate advertising hype. Honestly if I didn't know Rod and have a chance to look over the quiver first-hand, it's highly unlikely I would have even considered buying one because of so many things I've seen get rave reviews and/or big advertising that was a real dissapointment in real life. I love my Arrowmaster--best quiver I've used to date.
'Course there's no one product that will be perfect for everyone, but this dang quiver has to be as close as you can get. If anyone can find any legitamate flaw in it, tell Rod so he can tweek the design (again). I can't find anything wrong with it--but I'll keep trying.
R.Combs, I shoot wood arrows and I've shot several tournaments with my Arrowmaster. As far as I can tell wood arrows are totally safe in it--I shoot full length POC. It's not floppy by any means. I trust mine enough to take it on my first elk hunt coming up in Sep.--I don't plan to bother taking any other quiver with me.
Chad

What holds the feathered part of the arrows apart?? is there some sort of an arrow gripper, that doesn't show in any of the pics that i've seen so far? If so could someone please post a pic of the inside upper part of the Arrowmaster?
Thank you
Sergio
-
I'm shooting my 21" riser DAS and denny has his Longbow on his shoulder watching in awe as arrow after arrow hit the mark.......... :bigsmyl:
-
It ain't hype--
That's about how I feel as well. I like to see for myself what people are talking about.
Not sure how long for it to get here, but I'll sure give my review when it does.
-
Sergio, there isn't any type of arrow gripper per se; the fletchings actually lay against one another, but not in the same fashion as arrows stacked like logs. Since the broadheads are secured fairly deep in the foam protector they seem to float/suspend just enough that it takes undue pressure off of the feathers. Placing the storm cover over the feathers not only protects them from rain but also helps to silence them. I was very surprised when I discovered how quietly the arrows are in this quiver (And I have 10 broadhead tipped arrows in mine). There is a layer of fleece-like material where the feathers touch the inside of the quiver designed to keep the feathers from making any scratching sound. It's hard to explain but the darn thing works!
-
I've just joined the Arrowmaster Fan club too. My quiver arrived today, 10 minutes later the bow mounted quiver came off the bow and I doubt it'll go back on again.
I really like the inside zip pocket for license/tag storage and a spot to put my hunting field journal.
I have a question for those folks that have actully hunted in the field with the Arrowmaster quiver. I like to carry a Granfors Bruks Hunter's Axe with me whenever I go into the woods. This hand axe has a 19 inch handle. Do you think the Arrowmaster could be adapted to carry that handaxe along the backside of the quiver? I'm going to talk to Rod about that type of modification as an option but want to hear comments from guys who have already used the Arrowmaster. Extra weight should be in the 2 lb range.
-
thats gotta be a picture of ronbo shooting, man what form!!!
-
I've had mine for less than a week and have been "playing" with it since I too was concerned about noise from the feathers. With 7 arrows in place, I shook the quiver and found things to be quiet as a church mouse. ;)
Mike, I think a big ax attached could cause an balance problem, but let us know. I carry a Bison Gear pack with all my stuff...including a saw and small hatchet and found the quiver rides along side very well.
Also Mike, I will be the treasurer for the Arrowmaster Fan Club, and you may send your annual dues to me if so inclined. :bigsmyl:
-
All this talk has convinced me. I just ordered mine. :-D
-
Gary;
Great explanation . Don't need pics now either.Sounds like it's just what I need! Thank you!
-
I love my Arrowmaster. I won't get rid of my bow quivers, but I won't be using them nearly as often.
Allan
-
Does the fletching cover need to be removed in order to retreive your arrow from the side opening, or can it stay attached?
Thanks!
-
No, the arrows can be removed with the fletch cover attached....
-
Will anyone have them for sale at the GLLI?
-
Owl,at present myself, A&H, and Kim Sha archery are the only dealers...and as far as I know, none will be attending the GLLI.
-
Thank you sir, guess I'll have to count my pennies when I get back to see if I can afford one. Was hoping to budget for it on Friday, but once I get shopping, I mean once my "wife" gets shopping I may have to wait a bit!
-
I received mine from Rod just a couple days before our state's annual rendezvous. After using the quiver for 4 days of 3-D and novelties, it passed my tests with its quality, ease of arrow removal and quietness.
Yes, I am impressed! :saywhat:
-
Just opened the box - and I am IMPRESSED! Can't wait to put it through some tests. Good job Rod!
-
Thanks a million guy's! We worked very hard on the ArrowMaster and love the feedback!
-
I have been using a tube quiver for years. When I saw how nice Rod's were I bought one of his because they were a little bigger.I look forward to useing it chasing hogs this fall.
-
See below......
Hog - Javie - Bunny Hunt :
Bunny arrows in the back and Broadheads in the front.....
Won't have to do that again with the Arrowmaster.
-
OK that does it! If its good enough for James Wrenn, it is good enough for me  :notworthy:
-
LOL, never saw a thread generate sooooo many sales huh Rod!
Anxiously awaiting mine....got abit farther to travel I guess.
-
Yeah, sales have been brisk, to say the least :bigsmyl:
EASTERNARCHER, yes, with only 5 days down and shipping to Canada, its probably a little early to be expecting a package yet..Canada takes a while.
-
Thank you Rod for a great quiver, after buying a lot of different types this is the best one ever. It is just as everyone described quiet, light and very versatile. I received mine a few days ago and cannot wait to hunt with it, bear opens in about a week
-
I got mine a week or so ago, very nice. I took it stumping on my last trip to the cabin and it worked great. I'll be using it for deer season this fall.
-
You guys are really starting to peak my interest...
I don't like on bow quivers - never have - and as much as I like hip quivers, I keep getting things caught in them in the underbrush. Tried the CatQuiver, and didn't care for it. Seems this has quite the following.
Does the quiver "shift" on you when drawing, does it hold your body if you have to duck/manuver in the brush? How does it keep the top of the arrows from rattling around?
I understand the quality of the components used in it, I'm just one of those people that needs to see/hold something to make sure it's really going to work for me.
-
Rod has incorporated a fleece type material in the upper portion of the quiver basket that essentially muffles any loose arrow rattle. When combined with the "rain hood", you get quite a silent system. I have a stalker quiver that has none of these features, and was noisy as all heck when walking in the woods. I have been playing some with the Arrow Master, and the only way I can get my arrows to rattle is to actually do something like "jumping jacks" - not quite the motion one would do going through the woods.
As for staying put, the shape has a contour to it that settles quite nicely to the small of your back. You can also use the carbiner (stalking clip I believe it is called) to anchor the bottom down to your belt loops.
I have found only 1 "flaw" (okay, it isn't a flaw, just a "wish") - an additional slide buckle would be nice to keep the adjustable shoulder strap together - an believe me, that is no big deal.
This product ROCKS!!!!
-
Wihill, you sound just like me when it comes to quivers. I've tried umpteen "store bought" quivers--side quivers, Lakota style, Cat quivers, hip quivers, back quivers, bow quivers--and tried making a few of my own. None of them worked like I wanted, and the last few years I have been using a hip quiver (not wearing it the conventional way though).
I'm about as big a skeptic as you'll find--been dissapointed by too many products that got rave reviews on message boards--but this quiver is ZERO hype--it just works better than anything I've ever used. I've tried to find something wrong with it or a way to improve it, and so far I'm stumped.
You can adjust the shoulder strap to let it ride several different ways. I don't notice it when drawing the bow--either with just a few arrows, or a bunch. Like Bob said, you have to really make some movement to get any arrow noise. It's as quiet (or quieter) than anything I wear going through the bushes, not prone to hanging up on anything, and dang near impossible to dump your arrows with the hood attached (I've seen no reason to remove the hood). Arrow removal is simple and quiet. You can carry a few arrows or a bunch (I've been stuck carrying several folk's arrows when we got stuck in the rain at a tournament). Mine is going to CO with me next month, and it's the only quiver I'm taking--I see no reason to take anything else.
Chad

Thanks guy's :notworthy: Thanks for the support :D

Bob....thanks for the idea!. I didn't want to add anything to the shoulder strap, that would hinder adjustment ease.....I played with a "keeper "of sorts, but it got hung on clothing more than I liked, so I may add a nylon slider and check how it works in the woods
-
LBR and BobW - thanks for the honest responses, I am one of those guys that had almost every quiver out there. I purposely held myself back from getting some of them becuase I knew I wouldn't like them after 10 minutes.
I'm embarrassed to say I even tried to make my own - it didn't turn out so hot.
I'll be 100% honest, there's only one thing that's making me gun-shy on buying one "right now!" - and that is the exposed section above the broadheads. I know it needs to be there, I know what it's for, but part of me keeps wondering if it's missing a weather-flap or something. With the drain tube/hole I don't think it'd need one - but my mind spins gears strangely.
I may have to just take the plunge - it looks like an awesome quiver...
-
Is it adjustable for lefties?
-
Looks like it comes LH or RH.

Rod, just wondering if you considered adding an adjustable waist strap to keep the quiver from moving on your back? I added a tie-cord to the bottom of my backquiver to keep it positioned on my back.....PS, the new quiver should arrive soon I think!
Thanks Rod!! :clapper:
-
Okay guys...I scanned the posts on this thread, probably missed it. So where do you order on of these beauties???
-
The carbiner is there for your belt loop, but if you have a long tailed shirt or jacket, it will need something. Each of us is so different that I'm not sure Rod could make a "one type fits all" strap. If it got down to that, I would be sewing loops on my coat to attach it to, or using something like a kilt pin to attach to.
Yep, I truly think you will be pleased with the quiver.

Yep, I truly think you will be pleased with the quiver.

Bob, I agree that each of us could do our own mods to make it suit us. A long coat or shirt could interfere with the carbiner idea....maybe I'll just use my idea and add my own waist tie..
-
I also thought the quiver could be improved if shoulder straps were secured. I found an easy solution with an arrowhead pin that has not interfered with use.

OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Nice Touch

Dang it you all!!!!! I've been eyeballin' these things for awhile and after reading this entire thread ordered one along with the bow case. I was saving the money for a rainy day, well it was raining this morning, so I guess it's ok.
On the customer service side, I called and left a message for Rod, and not expecting a call for a couple of days, due to it being Friday evening in Alabama. Well, he called me back and it was about 7pm his time (3pm Alaska time). Got the questioned answered and made the order as soon as I got off the phone.
Thanks Rod
Nick

I received my quiver yesterday and it was a little too short for my arrows with the fletch cover on. I called Rod and left a message. A short time later he returned my call and solved the problem with a fletch cover that was a couple of inches longer. That was after he put in a twelve hour day at work. He even took the time to talk me about a question that I had on my shooting.
Now thats customer service.
And by the way, it is one heck of a nice quiver also.

I could'nt resist and ordered one! After all, couldnt very well say, "I've tried them all", without one. LOL :biglaugh:
-
Thanks again guy's!
Looks like Blackhawk has found a perfect strap thingie....can you buy them by the thousand, without having to go up on the ArrrowMaster ? :D
The reason there's so much of the shoulder strap thats double thickness is...I wanted to be sure there was enough adjustment to fit everyone, kinda like I reworked the design several times, so that the quiver didn't lose anything in a left hand version.
Any time you start on a project such as the ArrowMaster, you have to weigh just how much you can add to the design, before it becomes too much and clutters the end product, while still trying to have everything you need....and nothing you don't....I think we have most of the features needed, but anyone that knows me will tell you....I'm never completely satisfied!

Maybe that is why everyone else is so satisfied with it Rod. Keep up the good work.

Scott....I have a couple new strung bowcases in the final stages.....it never ends :biglaugh:
-
Rod,
Need someone to field test them? I am headed to Canada in two weeks and would be glad to help you out. :)
-
Well, I just got my quiver and take-down bow case.
Initial impressions are great. The feel and the construction are outstanding. I have a leather side quiver, but the opening is too small to reach into, this one is quite large. It is light and I suspect even when full of arrows will be comfortable to carry. The small "d" ring will be very nice when crawling or crouching. I like that it is flexible also. The rain cover is a plus, should come in very handy for the rain/snow up here in AK.
The large pocket with the interior zipper pocket will be nice. I will give a report once it gets some field use.
Good job Rod and all who gave input, I think all my other (several) quivers will begin to collect dust.

Got to talk with Rod today. I can't help I'm a bit old fashion - I like to talk with someone before I put my money down, the internet makes things so impersonal. He's a great guy, and I can't wait for my order to arrive. I'm looking forward to using it opening day.
Thanks again, Rod, and everyone that helped make this decision a lot easier.

Awesome quiver Rod!!! Without a doubt the quietest quiver I have had the pleasure of using. Functional is the most important to me. Gonna be great on the stalk!!! Happiest I have been with a piece of hunting equiptment in a long time.-Greg
-
Rod, i got mine last week and like it! In the hot weather shooting it was much nicer and cooler than a back quiver...the pocket is great!

Once again...Thanks for the kind word's....and photo's! :notworthy:
-
Oh man, I couldn't handle it anymore! I just put my order in! I can't wait to get it in the mail next week!
-
I've read this whole thread and still have a question. I like to carry a couple of judos with me. How does that work out in regards to bumping into the broadheads and dulliing them? I guess all I am asking is....is there a problem carrying judos along with bhs?
-
Bill,
I am going bear hunting this week and plan to have a couple of Ace blunts in the quiver. I will let you know when I get back if no one has answered by then.
-
Can you carry arrows tipped with broadheads, without them getting together and getting dull?
-
SWP: Looking foward to hearing from you. Laura and I will be heading out to Maine in the AM for our annual bear hunt. Good luck....we can, perhaps, share some stories after this week.
-
Whip had these at ETAR and I purchased a T/D bow case. Now I can't believe I didn't try one out :notworthy: Just paypal my order to Rod. Thanks...Doc
-
How does it sound when removing an arrow from the quiver does the fletching rub the quiver and make noise? Also how long would you say those arrows are that Drew is shooting cause they are sticking out the top?
Thanks,
Mike
-
Stringdancer:
I'm not Drew, but my arrows are 33.5". Rod made a special "long" rain hood for me. I doubt it will be a problem for you. As for sound, this quiver is quite quiet in removing an arrow. He lined the upper section.
-
WOW, I placed my order Friday, Rod shipped my quiver Saturday and it is already filled with my arrows today! I love it, what a quality piece of work! This will be in the woods with me Saturday morning for our bow opener and my 1st deer season hunting with trad gear!
THANKS ROD!!!!!!!!
-
Me too, 'Fool! I couldn't believe it, as I had PayPalled it in the evening on Friday. He must have shipped it out first thing Saturday. Rod don't mess around, do he! :archer:
-
Thanks guy's
I try to ship ASAP and somehow most of the time time manage to pull it off...in fact Joe's and Killy's quiver order's managed to ship, during a time I was working 16 hr shifts...which thankfully will be over this wed. :D
-
Yikes! I thought I had it tough working 7 days a week, 10-14 hours a day! At least I'm managing a golf course, so I can step outside with my bow and arrowmaster quiver anytime I like and shoot a few arrows!
-
Just got mine in today.
I'll admit, I was nervous.
THIS QUIVER ROCKS!
Loaded it up, the arrows stay put, and I can't believe how something so simple could be nice a quiet. I had to jump all over the place just to get a little rattle, and that was with the rain cover off. With it on - nothing!
Bucksuede finish is perfect, and matches my Pred Decpt Brwn Horn Hunter G2 pack PERFECTLY - and (this was really weird) the attachment points line up perfectly to the G2's side quiver straps. Put to together it looks like they were made from the same company, with a fully seamless hunting solution.
Rod you are the MAN!
-
I just ordered one for Joe, this quiver looks like it will do everything that Joe will need it to do while he is out hunting a variety of small game.
-
For those worried about the weatherproof-ness of the bucksuede, I was out in constant, steady rain for 5 hours last weekend - everything was soaked, including the Arrowmaster. HOWEVER - the raincover did it's job, and the feathers were DRY! Also, all my items in the pounch were dry also.
Biggest plus, got everything in the garage, laid it out, and turned a small spaceheater on low, and the quiver was dry and ready to go in no time. Try that with leather.
Once again, thanks for an AWESOME product, Rod.
Chris
-
SWP. I have not yet done this with my Arrowmaster but have with Raptor style quivers. I just carved a 1/4 to 3/8" deep hole in the foam and stuck the blunts into that. They stay put, out of the way and you can place the holes anywhere you want so the blunts can be beneath the Bheads or above them.

Got mine today! Never used a back quiver before but I think I'm gonna like it. You can tell some thought went into building these.Very nice Rod.
-
WE HAVE FLETCH COVERS!!!!
I'll need a couple of those smaller ones when you get em ready! Checks in the mail.
Thank Rod!!!
-
Wished it would rain here so I could test the rain cover..
When I pack more than the pouch will hold,I've been wearing a turkey hunting vest for the extra's....really works nice with the arrowmaster quiver....
-
WOW!!!!! I can't believe this is still active....great tribute to a great quiver!!! ron
-
This is what I did for a divider on My Arrow Master. I dilled two small holes 1/4" down from the top of the plastic/nylon broadhead cup and stuck the stripped ends of the wire through. I curled the ends and pushed them into the fabric so they wouldn't snag anything. I also removed 1/2" of foam in the area under the wire loop. I can carry a couple judos and hex blunts while still getting a broadhead.

looks like you lined the cup with velcro too....
-
nice quiver.contact info ? i gotta have one.

uhhhhhhhhhh never mind :banghead:
-
How much extra is it to get your name put on it???
-
I just put all my stuff from my fanny pack into the pocket. Everything I normally carry for a day fit perfectly with some room to spare in mine. I can't wait to hit the woods.
-
Thanks again guy's :notworthy: :notworthy:
String Cutter...having your name monogrammed cost's $8(exactly what it costs me) and adds 10-14 days to delievery, as the monogramming has to be done before the quiver is assembled, then added to the following week's production.
-
I put my order in the mail for a lefty today. Hope it get's here before saterday
-
Rod, Just ordered a quiver from you with my Screen Name.. Had the wrong address on it..Hope it's easy to fix. Can't wait to get it..

I've already fixed the address...Thanks!

Got mine on Friday, did a little "herd management" Saturday morning! What a great quiver! Rod, I enjoyed talking to you, thanks for answering all my questions. I told my wife I had to have it to avoid being the only kid on the traditional block without one!! :wavey: CKruse
-
Well had mine for about a month now. Shot the last couple of 3-d tourneys of the year with it. Hunted all day saturday, mostly in a slow drizzle. Hunted till noon today. Kept my feathers dry, held all my little goodies I carry with me. Dried out hangin on a chair from 8:30 p.m. sat.-till 4:15 am sunday morn. Easy to carry. Don't remember an arrow rattlin. Its my go to equiptment. Carried it most of the day with a small backpack that holds my ground blind, camera, and some other stuff. Never did get out of place. Spent alot of time duckin and dodgen chasin turkies. Never had to give my quiver a second thought. My hats off to ya Rod!! -Greg
-
Hey Rod...thanks again bud - good talking with you and I appreciate you answering all my questions. Can't wait for Oct. 1st...

Rod, Thank You for working with me on our little dilemma. Transfer recieved!
Guys, Rod is one upstanding individual. Even after I told him to forget about reimbursing me shipping fees(long story), he insisted and today, I recieved "paid in full". Now that kind of business savvy and personal business sense is hard to find these days.
Hats off to Rod, and I don't say that lightly....
-
Good on you Rod, I ordered mine and received emails on a SATURDAY! That's impressive!
I'm looking forward to trying it out.
-
Wow...thanks guy's! :notworthy:

I must say I had mine out all last week. What a great quiver. It rained for 2 days straight, I was soaked but my arrows were dry! Great quiver taking it out again in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Well. its offical. 3R's now have ArrowMaster quiver's in their online catalog.
-
I seen them in 3Rivers the other day. Congrats Rod. They are really taking off for ya!!
-
Thanks Tim...yeah the "word of mouth" has been outstanding and I'm very thankful.
-
You guys...
I ordered an Arrowmaster last week. It was here in 2 days. It is an awesome piece of gear, but I just cannot get used to anything other than a bow quiver. I sent Rod a note, not 5 minutes ago to let him know I needed to send it back tomorrow. I already have a credit in my PayPal account! Rod, you are awesome! I really, REALLY wish I could use this quiver.

Just wanted to thank Rod for an outstanding quiver. I took it to Montana last week to hunt antelope and it is without question the best quiver I have ever used and I have tried them all. Everything that has been said on this thread has been on the money.
