Title: Help with my shooting form (video)
Post by: KY..Rob on July 16, 2008, 09:28:00 PM
I wanted to put this in the shooters forum, but it is read only right now.

This is my first full year with a Longbow, I have always shot a Recurve.

Just thought I would put a little more effort into the longbow this year and see what happens.

So let me have it! is my time and effort paying off, what do you see i need to work on.

Thanks,
Rob

We got there a little late, and sit on the side of the road and waited the storm out.

It got pretty nasty there for a minute

Gosh- looks pretty good to me.  One thing I was unsure of. . . how much are you leaning your head "into" the draw?  Versus- getting more draw out of the bow??  I could not fuly tell on the video but I do see guys losing a lot of poundage and power stroke.  If it works. . . probably don't worry about it.

Thanks Dan for pointing that out! I just grabed my bow and anchored a few times, my head does go forward slightly and then comes back with my drawing arm.

I will try and keep my head stationary and bring the string to me.

You right I am loosing a lot of power there, Thanks.
