This is what was posted on another site......  :readit:

I just got an email sent to all Bighorn bow customers. Ron has sold the company to a new owner. Ron has printed a list of all the guys who are supposed to receive bows and he says that all bows will be completed by August 15. He also says that the down payment will allow him to purchase materials to complete the bows. I payed for mine in early January, and wondered why there was such a delay in completing the bow.

That's what I read as well.  Can we hope and pray that G. Fred bought it back.  He is probably too busy to start making bows again though.

Who is building the bows Ron or the new owner?

Hopefully the new owner will be more reliable.  I was not a happy camper about my last dealings with him.

Everybody on the list of 19 is supposed to have their bows within seven days. I'm not going to hold my breath. Nobody has posted yet that they got their bow. Are they all going to be shipped at one time? This is as much suspense as the Brett Favre saga, but that fiasco has been resolved.-Pup

I received my bow from him a couple weeks ago. My brother ordered it for me for another bow I gave him so his name may have been on the list? It is a beautiful bow but it was only just six months late.

I think my name was not on the list because it was done for quite some time before he shipped it. He didn't have funds to ship it...

I also paid extra for a string... didn't get one...

I too had given up on getting the bow(I sure wasn't happy, especially since he just stopped responding to my emails altogether!!)... then all of a sudden there it was! Keep your hopes up. Regardless of all else, they sure are nice bows. Good luck to all that have not received their bows yet!
