coyote2 I own a Traditionalist which is the same bow in a one piece. I can let this bow sit for a couple of weeks, pick it up and WHAMO. Mine has standard maple limb cores , nothing wrong with good old maple cores.beachbowunter has a Combo Hunter Longbow on the Classifieds might be what your looking for. All Boo limbs at a bargin price. If I had the bucks I'd buy it myself.I see no need for the carbon myself. But to each his own.  (http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w280/tomblvd/203_0317.jpg)

Best bow money can buy, in my opinion. Mark & Sandy are 2 of the nicest & most helpful folks you'll ever deal with.
The double-carbon bamboo cores are outstandingly quick, (I've no experience of the recurve, I'm purely talking longbow here) stable & quiet. The grip may take some getting used to (I went with the standard Longbow grip & then bought a second riser with a Brushbow grip)
Personally, I wouldn't part with mine for anything.

I think they are almost as good as it gets.  I picked up one used a few months ago and from the first shot it was like an extension of my arm.  They look great and shoot better.  It is one of my bows that I really doubt I'll ever get rid of.

Mark is a good a guy as you'll ever meet.  He makes great equipment and he stands behind it.

Mark and Sandy are first class! They stand behind their work and are great to deal with. I owned a combo hunter which I skinned in rattlesnake. 64" 53#@28" incredibly smooth and fast! Regret selling it to this day. I recently purchased my second brush bow 60" 49#@28". Bow draws smooth and shoots as if it were in the mid 50's. In my opinion a Hornes bow is among the best out there. It hangs right next to my Pronghorn and PLX

I currently own two of the Combo Hunters and a Traditionalist plus have owned half a dozen  others. I have had recurve limbs but all my current ones are longbow limbs. My one piece is bamboo with yew  and is as pretty, smooth and fast as you can get. I love them! I have some figured myrtle limbs that are awesome. I have two risers and fours sets of limbs and had Mark make the risers so I can interchange the limbs. This give ms weights from 35lbs to 57 . Great bows and great people.

Exceptional bow and extremely quiet.  Great people to deal with.  Mine was a 66" combo w/longbow limbs.   David
