...you're in the last month of a long wait for a new custom bow?
Here are some random thoughts I've had in the last few days:
I wonder if he remembered to order the block of macasser ebony that will be my riser wood? Is it dry? Did the katydids find the stack of veneer boards and chow down? Has he managed to keep his fingers out of the bandsaw???
Do katydids eat wood??? (http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q171/Joshy_Tree/faint.gif)
What if the limb bolt bezel factory workers went on strike? I forgot about the bocote that will be in the flare... Does he keep bocote on hand? Can phenolic rust?
What if the pandas ate all the actionboo? Does actionboo grow in China???
Where is the bezel factory? PANDAS?!?!?
Those are just the semi-sane whisperings... This is kicking my butt!!!
Before someone asks the inevitable, mine is gonna be something-sorta-kinda-like -- one of these...

Maybe I'll pick up a new self-bow at MOJAM and forget about it. It could happen... Right???
Tim's bows are well worth the wait. Of course, you must post pics when it finally arrives!
Where am I coming up with the money this time?
Why is everyone dressed in white?
Why do I have to take this medicine?
Why don't they let me eat with forks?
Who took my belt and shoelaces?
How am I going to get this one past the wife?
I wonder if he'd make me a deal on an extra set of limbs?
Should I have chosen osage with bacote instead?
Dang..I shoulda went a couple of pounds heavier..oh yeah,I can always get another set of limbs. hmmmm
Ha! I don't have to think about anything during that long wait any more, as my new Shrew arrived, at long last, yesterday. Ha!
I wonder where I am going to hide this one?
I am in the same boat waiting for my Sovereign Ballistik that should be here in the next couple of weeks. Did he forget to make it left handed? What if it is not what I expected? What if it's more than I expected and my other bows get lonely? Will I be able to find the perfect arrow before hunting season? aaaahhhhhh!
Think about baseball.
If you get a big enough herd of bows then they don't notice when just one more arrives. Gary
