My oldest son Charlie is three years old and always wants to be out messing around with the guys. He enjoys getting out and shooting with his Dad and Grandfather in the back yard. My Little Charlie has been shooting a hand-me-down bow that was made for another kid many years ago.
Today I received a package in the mail from Charlie Lamb. It seems that 'Big Charlie' (the name my little boy gave Lamb) thought my 'little Charlie' needed a bow of his own.
We unwrapped a beautiful new little Sunbear longbow made custom for Charlie Kinslow. Lamb even included some new arrows for my son. As you can tell he enjoyed his new bow.
Thanks again Lamb!

Here is the bow in action. I already need to head over to the neighbors wooded area to find one he shot up in the air.

Joe... Don't tell everyone! I'm supposed to be rough and tough and a crusty old fart.
;)
Charlie very well done that young man is one happy camper.
Everything about this is good. Good lookin' bow, good lookin' young man. Good yard, good dog. Good feelings. All because the kindness of one Charlie to another. I appreciate the smile here at work.
Charlie, kinda like the rare geode: all crusty, plain and rough lookin on the outside, pretty and sparkly on the inside :readit:
But of course, I'd never let that out...
Great stuff Chris! Are you and little Charlie heading to Platte Falls on Sunday? I'd love to see Charlie shoot that bow in person.
Bill
Hey fellas,
Quit writing all this stuff about Charlie. His neighbors might read it and ruin his image. They'll be coming over to his house wanting to borrow a cup of sugar...the neighbor's wives will be leaving their "honey-do" lists on Charlie's front door. :bigsmyl:

Beautiful boy, how old is he? I have a three year old and he shoots too. He is so serious about it too. He tries his best not to smile when he shoots :p It gives ya such a sense of pride to watch these children take on such great things...thanks for sharing.
