Title: B.C. Hunt Auction?
Post by: Quill Flinger on July 09, 2008, 12:00:00 PM
Was wondering if anyone has tried this out. I've heard that sometimes you can get a heck of a deal when an outfitter has extra slots open.
This might be a good year for deals, what with the price of fuel & all.

I look at the web site occasionally but have never bid on any of the hunts yet. I agree that many times bargains can be had if you are in position to take a hunt on short notice. Seems like every time one of those deals come up I already have another hunt scheduled though.

Got the deal of a life time at the last PBS banquet in Pittsburgh. 6 day spot and stalk for black bear in B.C with Jeff Landers of Primitive Outfitters. Mouth is still watering!

Stew,

I've hunted mule deer with Jeff on two seperate occasions in Alberta. Sounds like he has a really good area for black bears in B.C. now. You should have a great trip.
