I just thought I'd share this, after a year of planning, permits, and other county holdups, I finaly have a new shop. The old one was a little cramped with a boat, 4 wheelers, lawn mowers and a truck. The new section is 25' x 30', a good size, don't know who's going to keep it clean. I have the inside almost done. Here are a few pictures just to tease the shop impared.

Here's a shot from the shop back to the house, not a bad patio to sip on a lemonade huh? If the wife gets her way (again) there will be a pool someday.

Very nice Dano
Dano...is that a Gerstner next to a double-door freezer-fridge that is slightly skinnier than the Gerstner???
Sucker's huge! That'll hold a whole MESS of draw knives! :scared:
Killdeer
Nice shop. I also noticed you don't have much grass to mow. That is a plus.
Dano,
Beauty of a shop! Best of times yet to be had.
Please tell us a bit about that sign on the front of the original two bay building. I can't quite make it out on the screen.
Ray
Thanks ya'all
Killie, you would notice that. I wish it was, That is an old flat file cabinet I rescued for a tool box. I wish I had another one :bigsmyl:
Ray that's and old General Petroleum (pre Mobil) sign. I had a guy come by and make an offer on it, I won't say what it was, but i was shocked.
Sweet !!!

Well there's Ol' Chuck, gettin by buddy?
yup i recon. when ya see him tell him hi :biglaugh:
Dano...that's an awesome back porch to sip a cold one from. Enjoy bother...you've EARNED it!!!
Thank you steve, I hope the same for you.
Yes, Thanks Dano. I've been trying to get set up in the old hospital we are staying in. I think once I get the windows repaired I will be able to resume some archery related pursuits.
I hear ya Chuck, take care of the big stuff. I'm just glad you have a roof over your head.
Did ya save a couple bucks for gas next week?
Great looking workspace Dano and soon you will be able to dive in off the porch and swim to the shop, when Mama gets her way.
You know it buddy. I'll see you next week. ;)
Nice digs, Dano! I like the way you recycle items like the old file cabinet. Ideas are coming to me for my remodel.

I thought the file cabinet was a map chest, but whatever it is sure caught my eye! I'd love to find a treasure like that. Nothing better than shallow drawers for organized storage! Nice workbench too...
Great looking shop Dano
Dano,
That is just awesome. Enjoy!!!
Dano, is that where I have to sleep?!!! I will check it out in person when I visit my folks down your way. Real nice brother!
Dano, with a shop that clean we're going to have to call you Dr. Dano.
BTW. That shop is ssswwwwwweeeeeeeeetttttt!!!
Nice shop.. your a lucky guy!
Thanks guys.
Joe, I guess some would call it a map chest, I've just always heard them refered to as flat file cabinets, yeah the shallow drawers are great for tools. I jointed a couple together for bigger tools. It would be a worth while project if a guy decided to build one.
Calvin, no you'll have to sleep outside, with the rest of the wildlife!!
 :D
I'm drooling on my keyboard. Man how I would love to have a shop like that! Very nice. Enjoy it.
Bill
Since my move to OK, I am forced to scrap bows under a pavillion... My wife thinks we need to have a cabin built before the new shop for some reason....
I was just starting to adjust, and then you have to go and show off Dano... MAN!
:)
Chad, Rome wasn't built in one day you know ;) (I always wanted to say that) :D
Calvin, you can have the extra bedroom, as long as you don't mind sleeping with the dog.
Dang Dano, I didn't know you was rich. Notice I said WAS rich. LOL Looking good pard. Real good. No excuses now!
