Title: Black Mountain Bows of West Virginia
Post by: Brent Rudolph on July 07, 2008, 08:52:00 AM
Well, my good friend Rusty from Billings helped name my bow shop beings it was just across the Yellowstone from Black Mountain south of Livingston, MT. Now I got to start lurking around to find a Black Mountain in WV. We arrived Friday evening and spent the weekend unpacking the moving van. Will be looking at some houses this week and hope to get set back up real soon. I sure appreciate all your thoughts, and calls, while we were on the road. Look forward to meeting many of you at ATAR. Westvangs, see you guys at ETAR.

Brent,
Where in WV did you end up at? I've been gone for 12 years now, but I know some good hunting spots in the western part of the state. You and your bows oughtta fit right in down there.

hey Brent!   It was good talking with you this morning. I'm glad you're liking WV so far. Once you're at ATAR and get a chance to see some of the southern parts of this beautiful state that moving van might just get loaded back up.

Welome to WV Brent, glad you made it ok. Looking forward to meeting you this weekend. Bring one of your low poundage bows for me to shoot. I'd really like to try one. They'll have coffee there, so you won't have to bring any.   :biglaugh:

Brent,
Glad you and yours had a good trip to WV. Hoping you'll find a place that will meet your needs (and your "wants" too!)
Looking forward to the "Obsidian".

You won't be very far from Central KY

Glad you made the trip safely. And, as deertraks said....PLEASE bring a lower poundage bow (righty) for me to shoot also.

Leatherneck, I am in Falling Waters, WV at the moment. We are looking at some houses and checking out some options on a hometown at this point. I will be going to prison this weekend when I get back from ATAR. It wasn't my fault this time! I have a job opportunity there. I am waiting on a call from the National Guard on a job out around Morgantown, so Ibasically I aint settled yet.

So, how, exactly, DO you make license plates? Do you specialize, say, in typesetting, stamping, or painting? Fascinating! Learn something new here every day!

Good question Killee, I believe you actually have to specialize in crime as a prerequisite to any other training in license plate design/manufacturing. I believe that is the appropriate career path.

Actually, most inmates don't specialize in crime. Or they would not be there! Our inmates dont make plates anymore, they make toilet paper!

Brent, I'm pushing for Morgantown. Then you would only be 1 1/2 hours from me. Then I could come shoot your bows.   :bigsmyl:
So you didn't do it huh?
Good luck Brent and keep us posted.

Good luck with the job, and its great to hear you made the trip safe! One thing for sure is you will have a lot of new friends to meet. Which is the very best thing about the GANG. It is and we are nation wide    I just did the same type move to Arizona. It sure was great to have some friends already here. That I had not even met yet  :archer:

Dang Brent!  I didn't think those warrents were still valid.  Was it a surprise to the relatives when you pulled in with a trail of cops like in the "Blues Brothers"?

Good luck bro with the interviews and stuff.  See ya at ETAR in a couple of weeks.

Mike
