Can some of you that have owned or currently own a Slammer, please post your opinions and any pictures that you have of the bow. The *locator* grip especially interests me. How does it compare to a medium grip? I am acquiring one and am just wanting opinions.

I shot one in Baltimore in May. I was so impressed with it that I promised Leon that I would buy one next May, if he had one in the mid-forties.
I normally shoot recurves with medium grips, like K-Mags and my Cheyenne. I had no difficulty with the grip on the Slammer. And the draw was so smoooooth! And dead in the hand after loosing the string! It was a bow that even my husband liked, and we seldom agree on anything!
So, uh, I guess I am casting a positive vote here, in my usual, reserved manner.

Thanks.....Killdeer :archer:
I should have my hands on it before this coming week is out. If I do, I will bring it to ATAR next Saturday. I am really partial to my Hummingbird longbow and the change in grip styles was kinda worrying me. I feel better now.
I really hope to meet up with some of the *trad-gangers* next Saturday. My wife and I will arrive sometime early Saturday morning and plan on making a day of it.

I saw him shoot at Baltimore, with Byron Ferguson. One great shot and a class act.
