I did enjoy that,,, Thanks!
A couple good looking well performing primitive bows! Good job and nice video,, bet it will give your bud the primitive fever!
That was interesting. You make some good looking bows. I'm thinking of doing a little primitive hunting myself this fall. good luck.
what is the length of the bows.... Nice form, Too.
Thanks guys, the osage bow I was shooting is 64" the other one (hickory) is 60". I shot another video showing how you could shoot the hickory bow either right handed or left handed or upside down, again this video is not promoting either, but just showing the simplicity of selfbows. I am no exhibition shooter or nothing so if the group is not as tight as you would like it I promise I will practice before season! I have not shot any for a few months just been real busy. Thanks guys I like this board there are some nice folks here!
Good lookin bows and nice shootin.

Thanks for the vido and great bows. Im real close to making my first bow. Hope they are half as good as yours. The look and the way they shoot. -Hard Head-

Thats a big black bear by my estimation!
Whats a GWP by the way?
German Wirehaired Pointer my other true obsession is bird hunting with my kennel of dogs on my ranch in MT.
Thats very inspirational building and shooting. Have made one unbacked hickery bow so far and am trying to learn to shoot it. The stone points are so sweet. I would really like to be able to accomplish something like that someday. Thanks for posting!
Just so there is no confusion, I have not taken anything but small game with stone points yet, but this year I think I have done enough practicing mounting and shooting them that I am going to use them during the upcoming season. I am pretty excited about them. Also I spoke with a friend of mine Doug Borland last night on the phone and he gave me a contact about hunting in Hawaii, going over in Feb. Does anybody else have any info or advice about hunting there, thanks for any info in advance, I don't want any specifics on area or honey holes just some info in what is at store for me when I get there.
Great looking bows, and those were some good looking arrowheads too!
Awesome Bear!!!!!!!! That deserves a thread all its own. CONGRATS.
Boy youout to be real proud of the bows you build..
