Title: fletching clamp?

what do i need for left wing?im going to start doing my own need to know what clamp i need

If you are looking into a Bitz, you have two choices - (1) straight clamp and using the offset adjustment, or (2) left wing clamp.  Both have been reported to work.  Because of fixing stuff for others, I happen to have each, and the intexers that go with them.  Not sure what happens if you mix the use of them....

I have a few left wing helical clamps for a jo jan if you need one or two.

I'd recommend a left helical jig, either a Bitzenburger or a BPE.  With the Bitz, make sure it comes with a left indexer; it will have an "L" stamped on the flat.

informational purposes only: you can get away with using opposite indexers on bitzenburgers.  instead of the cock feather being at nine o clock though it will be at eight.

or you can use fancy dancy twisty nocks on your aluminums or graphites so you can use any indexer and just twist to where you want it
