I have a chance to pick up an RER Arroyo recurve in a trade. Does anyone have one or have shot one that can tell me about it as far as perfomance goes? Pro's or con's.

Don't miss out on it. Smooth, fast, silent. Nice workmanship. I admire them.

You need to talk to Shawn Leonard, this is a quote from a different thread, he talks up that bow every chance he gets,
"To me it all boils down to the grip. I need a large throat to shoot well, my RER Arroyo fits me perfect and also happens to be very quick and quiet so really no dilemma, it is all the best for me! I have a one of their new recurves on order and Kevin is gonna do the same grip for me. Shawn"

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOWS GREAT BOWS GREAT FOLKS!!!!
I have a 54" with a Dymondwood riser and Bamboo/black glass limbs and a 58" tiger Ebony riser and Bamboo/Tiger Ebony limbs both are sweet shooters with good cast. They take a stiffer arrow than any of my same poundage Black Widows.
Love my 54" Arroyo. Very quick and quiet. Don't think you will be disappointed with any RER bow.
I have one, but for me the grip is a bit much. RER makes a great bow give it a try.
Great bows, that is all I shoot anymore. Mine is 54"s and is as quick and quiet as any bow out there. I should say not all the grips are large, I have shot some that were 4"s or so at the throat, mine is 5.5"s. I don't think ya can go wrong with one of them. Kevin and Sue are top notch people as well. Shawn
Awesome everyone, thanks for the advice. I'll keep ya'll posted.

Kevin will make you whatever size throat you need on a bow- at least he did on two of my RER t/d's.
don't have any Arroyo's but am drooling over the LXRs. Maybe in the near future.
I have a 54" Arroyo.Bocote riser and Zebra limbs. Two buddies of mine have 58"ers.We all love our arroyos. Kevin can make the grip to your liking and is a good guy to work with.
