LBBen, now THAT is what I think of as a deer camp when I am daydreaming about the one I want to be in each year.

This is a photo of a Deer camp in South Western New South Wales (Australia), this is even foreign country to me as it is about 3000 miles south of were I live in North Queensland.(pretty rough camp)

And this photo is of a track built along the side of the streams using rocks it goes for miles and miles and miles,it was built by the Chinamen during to gold rush days, we used it to get into the mountains to hunt Fallow Deer and Goats.
How come it never works when i wont to post photos?
I love this picture of our Wyoming elk camp...I can't wait till September!!!!!!

Thank you very much.
This Is my camp in northern New Hampshire, and the doe I shot during muzzleloader season in 2006.I tracked her in the snow 2 and a half hours before getting lucky with a 70 yard shot.My Father stands in the background by the camp.
Again, thanks Kathy!

Longbowben-- I really like that cabin. I've been thinking about building one. Did you use any special plans or just wing it? Larry
Well done Johnny "Two Combes"! Better get Carol onto it...lol.
See you in the Basalt mate,
AK.

this one wont last long here but I thought I would share. Whats more traditional than a circa 1900 deer camp? The one standing with rifle sporting the handlebar mustache in front of the tent, is my Great grandad. He was in charge of supplying the meat for the railroad workers up in Wisconsin/Minnesota.

Great pictures everyone. :archer:
Awsome pics! to bad work has to get in the way of livin.
Caveman it has barn siding and rough cut lumber. No plans two rooms and a shower room.
For the Mooseman, May 2007 Bear Camp.
Air clean, water so clear you could see the fish 40' down. Yes, British Columbia is beautiful.

This was our camp on an interior Alaska hunt for moose last year. Flew in to a remote airstrip, and floated for 10 days.

Mine is not near as rough. It has a generator and a diesel engine. Its self propelled and I drive it out to a remote WMA in the marsh of south Louisiana. It's made of all cypress on a steel barge.

This is me and my buddy Peachey's place. 440 acres we lease here in Montgomery County.
I'm filing suit on LBBen for putting my photo on here without my permission. He could of at least done a closeup!
Well the paper reads they just caught 6-20 year olds that had been breaking into cabins around our area. Ours got hit twice. As you can see, it's not near as secure as Biggies. Hope these were the guys that hit ours. I'm tired of fixing the window.
Hey Biggie, does your cabin come with breakfast and a back rub? Mine does, in the form of longbowben! :biglaugh:
8 foot off the ground. The camp is 7'by 5'; the deck is 8 by 8. It is located in the swamps of South Louisiana. The only way to get to it is by walking.

Some nice looking camps in this thread. I'll have a photo or two a little later maybe...
Here is part of the land we hunt in north central Arkansas. Less than an hour from here, so we don't camp there too often.

That place is still beautiful, Jim.

Great looking camps everyone and some beautiful hunting areas.

For those of us "in the know" (aka, "long in the tooth"), your dating of this photo was redundant. If I'm not mistaken, that's a Sierra Designs Wilderness (or maybe Glacier?) tent. I have a Wilderness of approximately the same vintage. Okay, it might be a little longer in the tooth than yours, but it's still very usable and much cherished for the memories.
I envy you your beautiful hunting land. :bigsmyl:
BroMark's pictures make me homesick. I grew up around there.
I enjoy looking at all the fun looking camps out there and wish I could be there

This is our cabin in Northern Michigan, I love it up there...

Here is my camp on state land. Its a nice piecefull spot for my early bow season. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v298/olgreenhead/bear%20pic/010.jpg)
This is going back a few years but it's one of my favorite spots. Luray VA. The top pic was an old shack that we used as our day camp way back in the middle of nowhere. The bottom pic was back down in town at Old Blind Bobs house. He was a chicken cooking fool and we chased vodka with cherry Kool-aid.

This was our humble camp last week in S. Wyo.

Here's my huntin' pardner and his goofy camo rig.

At age 52 I've camped in all kinds of weather, deep snow, pouring rain, blistering heat, gosh-awful Wyo-wind.....in all kinds of rigs, tents, back-packing, etc.
The older I get, the more I agree w/ Biggie. His Super-8 camp-site gets my vote.
Nice looking camps everyone.

Eidsvolling,it is actually a Northface,Tuolome.I think they had a similar model called the Sierra. When you said "still very usable and much cherished for the memories",it struck a chord.I still have that tent and there are a lot of memories attached.I recently bought a new, modern one and felt like I was having an affair.Good hunting,Jim

West Michigan 2005
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v696/foster1/IMG013.jpg)
This is another old West Virginia back pack camp.Absolutely beautiful country. This particular mountain can get snow 9 months out of the year and it is incredibly windy much of the time.It is the only place I've hunted where the whitetails feed and go about their business, completely calm,on violent windy days.I miss it. (http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a140/jbrandenburg/Scan0002-19.jpg)
Some good stuff right there. I'm going to look at a camper that a bud has for sale in Grantsville,MD next weekend. Place is surrounded by the Savage Rive State Park. Hope to add a few pic's myself pretty soon!

This is my 10X15 (not counting the porch), cypress cabin. Yes, that is an air conditioner in the window! It also has a ceiling fan and overhead lighting.
Our club's camp has a central generator and I have a portable just in case.
It was a lot prettier setting unti (http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm28/sendero25/100_0454.jpg)l the timber company clear cut my "backyard"

This camp is about 5 miles as the crow flies from the north central Florida gulf coast.
