Title: Children's longbows?
Post by: AndyTheCornbread on June 29, 2008, 06:18:00 PM
Where would I find decently priced kids long bows? This would be for a 5 year old, an 8 year old, and a 10 year old. I would like them to be glass backed not self bows if at all possible.

Without a doubt try Mad Dog Archery!  Mike is a top notch fella  who makes great bows.

Another vote for Maddog.  I bought one of his longbows for myself.  A great bow for a great price.  Mike is a sponsor here and a pleasure to deal with.

I'll second the Black Rhino Bows.  Well made and pretty much kid proof it seems.  Chuck is very good at matching the bow to the shooter, too.  Google it for their website.

Come across the river and see me.  I have a couple Cook's Mtn Archery laminated kids bows in stock.  I also have a few 3 pc recurves available.

We have bought several from Elk Ridge.  They really hold up to the kids (ab)usage.  My wife shoots a longbow that he made.
