Anybody shoot these and how easy are they to sharpen? I may try them if they sharpen like the other snuffers!! Shawn
Shawn, they do sharpen just like the other Snuffers. Just at a steeper angle. Still flat accross two of the blades.
Nice head, I only wish they were wider than they are and had the same angle as the original. I've only shot one doe with them, and the blood trail was less than stellar. Went in at the last rib on the right and out right behind the left shoulder. She only went 60 yards but we found her by walking in circles with 6 or 7 of us looking.
Shawn... I really thought Mike had something when he introduced the stainless Snuffer. When I got to see one in person, I was very disappointed. It's dinky compared to a real Snuffer.
He should have called it something else. Like the Mini Snuffer.
That is all I need, coming from you two I take that to heart. I will stick with my originals. I like the 125s and the 160s. I have some custom tapered cedarsmiths that fly great with the 160s, so they may get to blow thru a deer or two this year. Thankyou gentlemen! Shawn
If you are loooking for a stainless 3 blade like a snuffer check out razor caps. About the same size as a 125, you can resharpen them like a snuffer, and different weights. Have seen three deer taken with them and they seem to hold up well.
