It started as a great day. warm, damp, and foggy. The drive to Vaughn's was a trip with lots of deer and rabbits running around on the roads. I had in mind to spend the day shooting carp on a hot spot we used to frequent in years past. Due to major road construction we decided to stay local. Vaughn brought me to a few cool places around his are. First place had carp jumping all around, and some shots were taken. No carp in the bag, so we go to check another place. Right off we see a bunch of carp hanging out in a cove. Right off we each score a fish. After that, there were some shots but no fish. We found a nice willow hanging over the water to sit under and get out of the sun for a bit. Hunger finally kicked in and we headed out to get some food.

whats them rubber britches fer? :D
Awesome fish!
Wow! That bow sure is a good swimmer! Sitting with your legs dangling in the water is a foreign concept to me, due to the snappy handbags around these parts, but it sure looks like a great way to pass time. Well done on the fish!
Looks like you folks had a good day! Nice!
Ben, we don't worry about those toothy critters around here. This is how we get the carp when you don't have a boat.
