That is beautiful Chris!
Kenny,
Happy to see that you got your package. Hope it brings you great luck. :wavey: I am ready now....
Chase received his plaque from Bernie as well....
Bernie, he said he forgot to send you the money for shipping, but will get it out to you.
We also got the hunting coat from Joe Skipp and we are holding this for Chase. It will probably be next year before he can wear it, but it is a great coat! It will make a fine birthday present next year and he will be proud to wear it.
More importantly for us was the fun of the auction, the joshing and bidding up your buddy because you could. It was all in good fun and we miss it already. Way to go ladies and gentlemen....it was a fine auction for a wonderful cause.
God Bless.....
Kim
Finished Homeland this week, if anyone is interested in the Yellowstone country or in archeology I highly recommend this book. It is easy to read and highly entertaining, not just a lot of academic talk. This was a great buy!

probably the purtiest arrows that I have had yet :biglaugh:
Nothing to show really, but I received a copy of the Instinctive Archer Magazine CD from Rob DiStefano. Good stuff! I have read the first issue and browsed some of the others. If you like to read about trad archery stuff, you need to get this.

Don't have a photo but I got my Water Bottle carrier from Mike G. a couple of weeks ago. Very nicely done and came in real handy at Compton's.
I can't show you mine because it was a great dinner at the Compton shoot of Lobster and Tender loin provided by "Hunt It", Dave Stinson and it was great. And he was then kind enough to invite my kids and I back the next night for a second great dinner. Thanks again and thanks to Angelo of Bison Gear (everyone should call him up and order two packs), Mel, Al, John, and Bob and Barb Morrison of Morrison Bows (everyone should buy two of those too) for the great company.
I got the quiver from Tim Roberts could not stand it had to have an arm guard to match. Man these things look great thanks Tim (http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z105/robertwholloway/100_1229.jpg)

Roy...nice...love the wraps.
Thanks for showing and sharing. So far it looks like we all made out like bandits. It's always fun to see the goodies that everyone gets after the feeding frenzy!

Miss Kim, believe me - i was so tickled when i got the e-mail from Robert that i had to tell Rose right away and she happened to be working on a new one at the time (for no one in particular) and she said, "That's a great idea! Do you think it would be alright to send this one to her also?" I allowed as how you probably would be quite pleased and could redily find a child to put it to good use for - LOL. Our pleasure, believe me. I wasn't worried about Chase - I knew he'd remember it in time - after all, he comes from good stock!
I don't have much to show y'all (yet) - most of my money went in as cash to try to get Vermonster in trouble with the "Cheerleading Thing" - LOL. I did buy one of "Onestringers" Bow Skinsations Cause i like their products and service so much and they were "giving" a lot to help the kids. I bought a T-shirt that talondale and his wife collaborated on to raise funds for the kids too - again because I really liked the "T" design, and it was another great idea for helping the kids. I really like to acknowlege and aid special efforts like those things (there were many others too but those few, I could help on).
I do (of course) already have my camo bowskins but I probably won't do a picture of those untill I put them on a bow - it'll help bring St. Jude up again later in the year - LOL
Thanks for the kind words and the "urgings", Miss Kim, as well as all your work in the auction too. Also Kudos to all who helped in any way whatsoever (Is that one word - not sure but I do know there are many ways to help, and every single one counts and adds up - check the totals - YOWZA!!!)
Well, I've been wanting to try an EFA quiver for some time now, and this one was just to purty to pass up:
One of the biggest things that kept me from trying a bow quiver sooner was all the complaints about them moving. With EFA's new Talong Grip system, that's not an issue at all. I can't get that quiver to move - unless I loosen the straps up!

And for my wife, one of Karen Campbell's beautiful baskets, along with a jar of "Grandpa Norman's Magic Rub", which has been great on every cut of meat I've tried it on.

Still waiting for shipment.

I'm wearing the Froggtoggs from Skyler,(I've wanted to try a set of these for the longest time). In my left hand is the cool antler shed from Guru and one of the metal deer from ber. In my left hand the wraps from onestringer. And in my lap the amazing drawing of a pronghorn from Jesse.
Yes, I have two left hands. I shoot like I do too sometimes!
:smileystooges: :help:
My new letter opener...

The other picture will have to wait until next spring as it is a scratch call that needs a dead turkey to be propperly framed in a picture....
OK - I get to show what perhaps may be my (and others) second-most important St. Jude Auction wins, thanks to Talondale and his wife, and their grand idea. I say Second-most becuse the aid to the kids at the hospital is the foremost important win. This just arrived today, and I will wear it often, and proudly.

Here is the St. Jude Auction T-shirt.
Very nice Bernie! :clapper:
I'm very pleased with it, b.g, thanks. I can only sympathize with those who missed out on getting at least one this year. Perhaps it will also become an annual thing, in conjunction with the auction. I know T's are not an easy thing to handle though.
The T handling isn't half as hard as coming up with a design. I'll see if inspiration hits me again and we'll see about next year. Glad you like it.
LOL - I'm sure - but at least you are thinking in the right direction, Chuck.
NEXT! :goldtooth:

Got a nice new bow. Javaman donated to the auction. It was "some assembly required" as you can see in this link.

Very well done Shaun! How's she shoot!
I am too wimpy to draw it much past 26" but it is a laser. 67.5" NTN 66# @ 27" shooting some 27 1/4" Eric Krewson poplar 55# spine arrows from last years St J. No visible drop in 20 yards. Gonna finish sanding and dress it up for MOJam next weekend.
...Sand dollars from the gulf of Alabama, maple syrup from Indiana, homemade buttermilk pancakes from south Georgia....life is good....
Thanks again guys for your donations...

We love our T's as well! They are quickly replacing baseball pants as the most laundered item in our house.
It is a great way to spread the word about the auction and what it is for. We had my cousins in from Tampa and they saw the boys wearing their shirts. We told them about the auction and they want to participate next year....bidding AND donating!
Thank you for the effort in making the shirts. I know it was a lot of work and they are really being appreciated in this house.
Any one else want to share?
By the way....the cookies have shipped...at least most of them! 20 boxes out and more to go next week. Now the wait to see who gets their cookies first! Will they tell or will they keep them to themselves?
