Title: John Pruitt selfbow pictures
Post by: dhaverstick on June 26, 2008, 01:19:00 PM
Here are some photos of my selfbows that a fine fellow by the name of John Pruitt made for me. John lives in Toulan, IL and cranks these things out like a machine! He's been doing it for a bazillion years so he's got the process down. His bows shoot fast and hard and I highly recommend them to anyone.

I got both of those bows for $150 a piece plus shipping and John had them to me in two weeks. I probably got a little bit of the "good buddy" deal since we have mutual friends but I'm sure the cost will be right around there somewhere. John even has a video you can purchase on how he makes his bows. It takes him about 3 hours to go from stave to shootable bow.
