Title: Arrow wraps
Post by: Jon Stewart on June 22, 2008, 11:06:00 PM
Bought some arrow wraps thru St. Judes.  Got them today but don't have a clue on how to  install them.  Can you give me the proceedure.  Arrow prep, glue ect.  Also in the package was the arrow wrap design along with another set of clear arrow wraps.  Not sure what to do  with these things.  They sure look good in the package!

Jon,

Here is the link to Onestringer's instructions:

They go on really easy.  Make sure you clean your shafts well.  I scuffed mine with some fine Scotchbrite, then wiped with alcohol before applying the wraps.  I blew apart a shaft with a "Robin Hood" and the wrap was still stuck good on the shaft.   :banghead:

I just put some on. I used a clean cloth to wipe shaft down. Peel of the colored wrap and lay it down sticky side up. Lay your shaft on it so the top edge of the wrap is parallel to the bottom of your nock and roll your shaft over the wrap. I used a magazine to do mine. Roll the shaft a couple turns. Then do the same with the clear wrap. It is an extra protective layer. Then fletch over the wrap. I used Fletchtite. Hope this helps.
