Title: exotic game
Post by: emusmacker on June 21, 2008, 07:01:00 PM
Has anyone ever shot any exotic game with traditional gear. The only thing exotic I've killed is an emu, but it was with a compound. New to trad archery shooting but love it and will stick with it 4 life.  Burned out on compound and really would like to hear from other tradgangers.

Here are a couple sheep that I have taken with trad gear. They can be a blast to hunt!

Those are some awesome animals, how bout any waterfowl? I think that would be the ultimate challenge.

It's all in the set-up. Pass shooting ducks is REALLY tough. I like puddle jumping ducks and lay-down blind in decoys for geese. The challenge with geese is in the layout and figuring where they will want to land relative to the deeks and laying where you can then just sit up and shoot them when they "flare" out in front of you.

When you do the work and are successful, theres nothing like it!!!
