And the delam...

I had this bow limb wrapped in a towel and held in a vise while shaping the limb tip. The limb rolled in the vise and this is what happened. There is no wood holding onto the glass in this area...Everything was cleaned and kept clean thru the process. I can't explain the failure...
Oh well I'm off to the garage the start resawing some more bamboo and rosewood for lams, and shedua for another riser. Wish me luck!
Happy hunting,
Jason

Don't know for sure but that top limb looks a little odd. May just be the picture angle in the fourth pic. I would try to save that riser. May be worth the effort.

Hi Jeff,
The pics on the wall, I took. I stand 6'. The full draw pics the missus took, she's 5'7".
When I looked at them I thought so also. But I tillered the bow to 3/32 strong on the bottom... I did look at it numerous times at full draw in the mirror and on the scale. It looked good.
As far as the riser... I already cut out another and have the lams roughed out. Will grind the lams after supper tonight, the riser in the am and the bow will be in the oven by noon... Wish me luck!
Happy hunting,
Jason

Jason looks like air pocket to Me. What type of clamping are you using? "C" Clamps or air hose? Also make sure nothing is holding the Lams away, make sure you are using some type of pressure strip....ONE SHOT... :) :) :) :D :D
