I have decided that I must have a new Hill Cheetah. I guess you can say I have been seduced, swept off my feet, beguiled, and cajoled. I love the juniper limbs with the ebony riser. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any pics of a cheetah would be much appreciated.

Bret, I've been shooting my Halfbreed for several years, but I relate to your desire for the Cheetah. The photos of that Combo are definitely seductive. What grip are you opting for?
-
I think I am going for the traditional straight grip. Any suggestions?

That Cheetah is a nice one for sure....
I like a slightly dished grip....

Now, Mohillbilly... One of the early steps in our 12 step program is that you can't blame others for your problem... Of course, we only go through the steps if we want to be cured!
Seriously, you can find numerous pictures of Cheetah's at this address:

It's the Showcase page for the Howard Hill Longbowmen.
Dick in Seattle... who shot his new Longbowman's Choice some this weekend

Blaming others is a classic sign of "issue" denial... LOL
Let see some pics when you get the bow.

I know I have a problem, but I think I can swing it with the wife if I can defer the blame. :readit:
Dick, thanks for the link. I hate to say it but I love them all. Does that make me "Easy"?

As far as grips go, the locator style gives me a more easily repeatable grip. Very, very important with a Hill. The takedowns are only available with a straight grip. Those are the two I have, and I like them both, but the straight definitely takes more focus, at first.

Have a new Hill cheetah on the way. Not the one with the ebony riser. I found a good deal on one from a dealer. Specs are Juniper lams with bamboo, shedua riser, clear glass, 53# @ 28", 68" long.
I am soooooo stoked, I can't wait.
Please put out word to all local deer and turkey populations-----"The Hill is Coming--be afraid"! :D
