Post by: Gehrke145 on June 13, 2008, 04:00:00 AM
I have a few spots Im keeping tabs on for elk.  Lots of animals just hard to get them infront of the camera, any of you us scent to get them closer.  I was thinking vanilla?

You will get bear in on vanilla, strap that camera down tight. A lot of guys out here will put a camera at a cattle salt.

I use water as an attractant. Trail cameras are fun as heck. You get to see a lot of different critters you might not otherwise. Have fun and post your pics. Here's one from a couple years ago.
