I recently got some Beman ICS 400s for my birthday. My question is; can I crown dip them in white paint? I've never dealt with carbons before, this is a whole new experience for me.
-
Yep, you can dip them just like wood or aluminum
-
Yup, just plug the end with some foam or I use a golf tee! Shawn

Little slow here but.........
Are you just opening a can of paint and dipping in the arrow?
-
I take some fine grit sand paper and rough them up a little and make sure the shaft is very very very clean before you dip.
-
Is there any special type of paint?
-
I think I'm just going to buy some wraps now. I spent the whole afternoon trying to fill a wine bottle with white paint. I finally got it done and dipped my test arrow, only to find the paint was no good :knothead: :knothead:

Little help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What type of paint?

I just shoot mine with Krylon.... 3 or 4 very light coats, (white) then crest with Testors.... lol

A acrylic enamel paint will work and use Duco cement. Hap

Thank you!

I'm with plucker: spray em with plain ol Krylon, crest with Testors, then 2-3 coats of spray polycrylic, fletch with fletch-tape. I really like the results.
