There really are not so many yet Sal. Not on public land. Out in South western PA you might find some, or on the out skirts of a preserve.

mysticguido,
The hogs are still protected in the three main counties that they inhabit. The "Wild Hog Task Force" is trying to trap them all. They don't want people hunting them because hunters were causing them to disperse more rapidly.
I went after the hogs last year in Bedford County. I didn't have any luck, but I don't think they will ever get them all. They are in some pretty rugged country.
I've been researching these suckers since I heard about them. They are there, just in isolated pockets from what I've gathered.

There may be a few here and there I guess. None of my friends in the "hog areas" have ever seen one.

My aunt has them in Bucks county near Bethlem/ Coupersburg.  A bit far from San Antonio TX for me to take advantage.

The Game lands in Bedford county had hogs on it. I live about a half hour from it. I have only seen one killed on it, but I was told there are lots there. It is real thick brush and very hard to hunt. I hunted bears there the other year. JOHN

I can't imagine hogs surviving the million rifle deer hunters in PA.    :archer:
