well i thought i would make me buddy a medicine bag. so here we go. first i got me some leather and cut out the shape and sewed up the two halfs (http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh305/jeffburg/CIMG2262.jpg) next i sewed a wolf paw carving on to the bag like this then cut a fringe on the bottom of the bag (http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh305/jeffburg/CIMG2264.jpg) next i started to punch the holes to sew up the bag (http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh305/jeffburg/CIMG2268.jpg) (http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh305/jeffburg/CIMG2269.jpg) then i started to sew it up oh boy what a job many holes in fingers LOL!! The Native Americans from this area would (as a boy wanting to become a man) get up in the morning on the coldest day,remove all clothing, walk, not run, down to the river....chop a hole in the ice...dive to the bottom and feel around for an object. This object , whatever it may be, was kept private and placed in the bag as part of his "mojo" or "medicine". If memory serves correct they did this 3 or 5 times in a row. Must always walk to and from the river showing no signs of anguish. Similar thing there?

hell no dave we would get put in jail if we did that sort of thing LOL!!!! no i filled mine with stuff i found while i was in the states last year and will do it again next time i come over. well philil you are most welcome to come with me to fling arrows no problem as my archery club is 5 minutes drive from my house. thanks salvatore :thumbsup:
