That sounds like a plan to me, as long as it's cool air! Hap

I wait til the shadows get long out back before I start shooting-still sweat like a hog.

My least favorite time of year. The only good thing is that fall is getting closer. Practice a lot and get bit up by bugs...

Bring on the heat! It's the best time for busting hogs!

its really not the heat that bothers me so much. over here in east texas the humidity is just about as high as the temp.  that is waht gets me down.

It is hot and humid around here now so I will wet a bandana with cool water and tie it around my neck.  I do the same thing with my ball cap, getting them both good and wet seems to help out a lot.

Early morning and late evening.  It's been hot and humid here as well...like the dog days of August.  You don't get those days back though, so I still get out to shoot.

I shoot between about 6:30 and dark. Seems what you loose in temperature, is made up in insects...Oh well.

Shooting this time of year is good practice for bowhunting the first 2 weeks of October around here (deer season opens the first weekend in Oct.). It can get really hot then as well. I just go out and shoot inspite of the heat. I work out in it most days anyway.

Drink a lot of water, take frequent breaks... and move real slow! Thats why we talk the way we do. It keeps us from over heating.

It be a plumb sorry deal to be retired and get up around daylight and go shoot for awhile before it gets too hot. Be a sorry thing maybe but fine time to be alive and be shooting whilst all be heading off to work.    :bigsmyl:   Good evening to all of ya!   :goldtooth:   Work safe.

We're having one of the coldest summers on record here with only a few days over 60 so far.  Today's high was 56 and rain and it's been like this forever it seems.

WOOHOO!  Weatherman says it will be 70 on Friday.

I've lived in south MS all my life. If I ain't used to it yet, I never will be.    :D  Funny thing is, it only feels hot until your shirt gets gets good and sweaty.  After that it's all down hill. LOL.  Ain't no bad day's in Miss'ippi, at least not so bad that you can't find a cool spot to relax awhile.
