Is there any to be had at all?
Looks like we're moving to Coffee Co. around Tullahoma. Lots of water & looks to be lots of 'proper' fishing, anything to be shot at though?
Git up the road to Land Between the Lakes. Two great bowfishing lakes there!
i used to live in TN and saw more carp then i did anywere else ive lived
yeah if you can get around the elk river. there are plenty of carp and gar. let me know if you come that way. im only 45min from tulahoma...but there is alot of good shootin down here in madison/limestone co. alabama...on the elk river and tenn. river. got tons of day and night spots:)
Saweet! Is it regulated (seasons, licence etc...) or can anyone shoot carp at ay time?
Sorry if that sounds dumb, but I haven't really looked into the hunting regs yet. According to The Wife, we have more important (?????) things to worry about!
Hey Rob, If you end up in Tullahoma, you'll only be an hour or so from us....and I promise to take you bowfishing on Lake Guntersville or Nickajack.....maybe a little deer hunting also....year round on the fish with a fishing license only.....what's the TN connection?????....SKYLER
yeah rob its year round here expect some management areas. same in tennessee you can just buy a 3 day fishing license. just let me know if you come that way. be glad to help you!
sorry i meant to say " except some management areas" .......... :)
Rock Island State Park is only about 45 min from you in Warren/White counties.
You need to find Great Falls Dam. When they stop generating, the water falls and leaves pools with loads of carp and drum. This is usaully in the early mornings. But be careful, those rocks are like ice after the water drops.
I can't imagine a better place to bowfish. Huge carp, catfish and drum. You don't even need a boat.
I forgot to mention giant gar too.
Hey Rob . . Is this a permanent change of residence, or is this just a weekend getaway kind of place? I know you were looking for some property out that way but never heard anything about you finding a place.
Either way, Coffee Co. will never be the same!!!!
