My Widow is 54@28 with me drawing 27 3/4. I am shooting 2117s with a 145 tip.I have some that are cut to 29 1/8, and the new ones I ordered are 30 inches. I went to cut the feathers off of 1 of the 30 inch ones just to see what they do... To my surprise thet are nock left. My 29 inch arrows are very little nock left, and these are more.. Should I cut them down a little, or will the extra inch hurt
Oh yah, my brace height is a little over 8 1/2
(PMAV recurve)
Well if they were a little weak at 29 1/8, they'll be even weaker at 30". So lighter point or shorten some.
I just bareshafted some carbons and did the last bit 1/4" at a time. They are very picky and I suppose the aluminums could be the same.

Like Vermonster said, longer arrows will be weaker spine, and yes and inch can make quite a difference. You have room to cut them off, so why not? Then they will match your existing shafts as well.
I shot Widows 4 years and shot 60 lbs @27'' 3 under w/ a 2117 & 145gr is what bareshafted 4 me.I think you maybe over spined.Try 175gr point
try 28 3/4" An inch does make a difference as you are all ready seeing.
Yes, an inch can make a difference, regardless of arrow material. As said above you can use a lighter point or shorten the shaft. You could also build out your arrow plate. It sounds like you are on the edge of underspine so a 1/16 thick piece of leather, or whatever material you like to use, added to the sideplate will effectively increase spine and should help. Use thicker if that doesn't do it.
When bareshafting make sure your form is up to par for it or you will get false readings. Next bareshaft over and over to make sure of what you are reading. Cut 1/4" at a time and shoot over and over. 1" will make a big difference is dynamic spine readings.
