Looking for spine suggestions and sources for wood arrows. Will be shooting them from my 3 pc ACSCX 57@29, probably douglas fir maybe poc about 30" long.
I typically shoot 70-75 from my 49#@28 bow drawn to 27". Lately I got some tapered and footed POC shafts from Raptor Archery with the footing left 6 inches as opposed to the usual 3", for added weight and FOC.
Those shafts are 80-85 and bareshaft oh so nice with a 190 field point. Weight is 675 total with a 29" shaft.
You may have to build out your sidewall.
I forgot to say that my bow is a 3 pc ACS CX.
Out of my 62" 55#@28" 3pcs. I use 70-75# 29" bop to bon, 23/64" dia. POC. 145gr. field tips and 135gr. Zwickey's. I draw right at 27-7/8" and they do a nice job. Arrow weight, 600-620gr..
Katman,Bill Stroupe of Dallas N.C. 704-263-4564 makes all of my wood arrows, cedar. As good or better than any one else. He also has a quick turn around time and usualy has some on hand. The arrow charts i see say 65# spine for 57# @ 28" draw. Im sure that will put you close.11/32 with 125g points

My ACS CX is 62"65@28 and I tried 75/80 @ 30.5 long BOP, hex shafts. They seem to be weak so I need to order something stiffer thinking of ordering some douglas fir from Surewoods.
Thanks guys, sounds like 75/80 will work.
