Title: ARROW STRAIGHTNESS
Post by: broll89 on June 06, 2008, 09:29:00 AM
Just wondering what you guys thought about the difference between .006 and .003 carbons.  Are the .003's worth the extra $?

Oh, the two arrows I am talking about are the beaman ics bowhunter(.006), and the beman ics hunter(.003)

I doubt you'll find anyone shooting a barebow who can distinguish the difference in straightness.  JMHO.

If it makes a difference to you, then I hope you are representing our country in China this summer.... the only difference might be a "better" matched set - but again, we are talking Olympic caliber here....

broll89,

If you're going to spend more money on a set of arrows, spend it on the set with the more consistent spine tolerances.  That will have a much greater effect on your accuracy than the straightness.
