Can I see your bow rack? I am going to make one and I need some ideas. Thanks
Brian

If you check out the St. Jude's Day 3 and 4 you can see some I made and added my artwork to.

Built this one for myself. Total materials cost was about $25. Only took a couple days, and it's enough for my meager collection.

Here's a close-up of the deer horn knob I put on the cabinet door for a handle. The wolf track antler burrs are t/d limb bolts, courtesy of Frank & Shell (Sticshooter).

This is the other.
I'm currently working on one for Lamont from The Footed Shaft with a Bear Archery theme.

Scooter, we seriously need to talk about a trade. I need a couple racks and have no time to build them. Chad

The bottom section has a deer antler base for a pull. The door will remain shut using a magnet type system with the hinges at the bottom.

OOPS, something happened.
Sorry for the double post

I'd like a free standing one that I can display a lot of bows on at shoots. Kind of an "A" frame type of thing that folds up. Pretty simple but I can't seem to find time to do one. I also need one that goes on the wall that holds a lot of bows. I guess I'm hinting here. I have some in stock bows here for trade material. Chad

Chad,
I was looking at these for Ideas..going to need more than just two antlers pretty soon..we should talk this weekend..could make two at a time..

I've posted these before on other threads, but I guess I'll throw them out again.
Here's what the ones I made for my den look like:

Hmmm now ya got me thinkin Steven. I really like that top one! Might have to spend a little time in the garage this weekend ;)
-
This one can be be set up freestanding using the "feet" or mounted on the wall...

Or, in it's current configuration- "leaning" while loaded as the man can is being refinished! :D

I used some antlers and put toggle bolts in the base and into the wall.

Here is the beginning of mine. I'm not sure what I'm going to do next. I don't think my wife will let me hang a tree across my living room though.

Steven Russell,
What keeps your bows from falling off the pegs when they are not strung? I like what you have.
-
I have no talent, can someone build me a bow rack?
Scott
-
Blaine,
I just slip the peg between the string and the bow on top while the string stays in the nock groove on the bottom.
-
Steve, I love the arrow-bow match. (stone/wood, steel/glass.) Nice touch!
-
Nothing fancy, but it works.Cost less than $10 and about an hour of my time. Red oak board with 3 pegs, finished with about 4 coats of tung oil.
I have no talent, can someone build me a bow rack?
Scott, if you want a rack like this, I'd be happy to make one for you.
